I finally got to see the footage of when he dismissed Gayle, quite pathetic, he would've ran if Gayle had of advanced towards him.

Watching the highlights on Fox last night he was even sledging while he was batting, having plenty to say. For him to then try and defend his actions by saying 'he started it' is even more juvenile than his girl like celebrations when he claimed Gayle's wicket.

Get rid of him......

Chances are his body might do as all a favour and break down on him again.

Here is the footage for those of you who want to see just how stupid his celebration was. Also since looking at this again, I have noticed at about the 15 second mark, Ponting running in towards Gayle as well which was almost as disgraceful.

As long as Punter is around Watto is as safe as houses. He just needs to pull his head in that's all. If Watto goes there goes just about the only attacking batsman in the Aussie lineup.

I'd rather lose with dignity than have this immature brat represent Australian cricketers....

Although not there myself, my brother and his family along with myself and the wife have organised for my Mum ( a cricket tragic ) to fly over on Xmas Day and be there for the Boxing Day Test.

I'm just as excited as she is about going. I hope Punter plays ( her all time fave player ) and rips out a big one.

I also hope that the Paki's take Chris Gayle's advise and try and bounce Punter out.

His eyes probably aren't working as well as they used to mate, he quite possibly does have a problem with the short one nowadays, I do agree that it has amassed thousands of runs for him over the years and he is one of the best hookers/pullers to ever play the game. I also hope that he plays a boomer, he hasn't exactly been my favourite player of all times but he's bailed us out of the pooh many times and would be right up there for all-time selection for Australia and the world.

He may well have an issue with shorter balls* in his latter years but remember players of Roach's pace are few and far between. Perhaps couple that pace with his lack of height and he becomes a different proposition even for the best.

Do the Paki's have any genuine quicks?

Im not sure if they have anyone right now that sends them down at 140 - 150, but in the past there bowlers have never lacked any yards. Im sure this series will be no different.

He had a short bat against some short balls then left the nets. He then returned later and faced the squad bowlers and net bowlers with an arm guard on. Didn't look in too much discomfort. He will play this test match. Hughes to miss out along with Mckay i think.
