Wii Games

Postby devilsadvocate » Mon Dec 21, 2009 3:04 pm

Having just bought a Panasonic Plasma, I get a free Wii as part of the deal. So, for those of you that have a Wii already, what games do you have? Which ones do you love/hate? Which others have you played/seen?

I'm definitely going to get the following:

Mario Kart
Wii Sports Resort
Tiger Woods 2010 PGA
Wii Fit + Shaun White snowboarding
Super Mario Bros
Mario Galaxy
Link Crossbow Training + Zapper
Big Game Hunter

I really want Rock Band II, but can't find it anywhere. I can see Rock Band, but not Rock Band II. Does anyone have it? What about Band Hero?

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Call of Duty series
All the Marios
Ashes 2009 is also very good for replay value, if you like cricket.
FIFA 2009
Tony Hawk series good fun using the balance board
Smackdown Vs RAW 2010

I think that covers the current most popular in the smac house!

Thanks mate. Didn't think about the Tony Hawk series. I like the idea of the balance board, so I'll probably pick that one up.

Tiger 2009 - but now 2010 is out

Champion Tennis - where you get the rackets, much better if you play against someone and not the computer, great for long 5 set spic matches!!

Mario Bros

The only games I've played on the Wii is rockband II (In Canada) and Tiger Woods 2010.

TW 2010 is absolutely amazing, especially with the motion plus add on

I've been getting back into G1 Jockey, although it's a bit long winded with all the "advice" you get from trainers when all you want to do is ride winners.

Agree mate, G1 Jockey would be alot better if you didnt have to put up with all the cr@p between the racing. Still a good game though.

G1 Jockey is a hoot and agree about the crap attached to the game - we played it here at work on Melbourne Cup day and it went down well!

I got G1 Jockey before we had the balance board, so i prefer to not use it. I have tried it with the board a couple of times, but went back to using the controller alone.

i think a Melbourne Cup Challenge on WII would be better then G1 Jockey - mainly to do with all the crap in between races.
Melbourne CUp Challenge still has crap between races but its stuff you can control and manage.
Plus i like the fact you can nominate horses for races you want to be in, create your own horses, which are basically superhorses cos you give em the best rating in every department!
