Noarlunga is flying and the mighty cove cant chase down a pissy 169 against an under-manned morphies. Great work emus. Give the shoe boys their medals for christmas. Ho Ho Ho.

Went and saw cove emus game cove were coasting to victory till all of a sudden it seemed like cove were in a hurry to get home nearly every bloke who came in tried to hit the ball out of the ground every ball inc the captain . I spoke to a few cove players sat night and there are a few unhappy campers down there who dont like the way the team is handled from trainings to games batting order changes week to week and some bowlers bowl all day long dont be suprised to see cove lose more than they win after xmas

we wont get ahead of ourselves.
7-0 for A's and B's is a great start but still half a season and finals to get through

Great night had by all Saturday down the Shoe, Undeafeated A's / B's cheap drinks and a great crowd, Always a good mix for a great night.

Cruising along nicely at the moment but cant take anything for granted and still a few boys not firing on all cylinders yet, so still room for some improvement down Shoeland.

I would not right cove off just yet, brett kinnear has a hamstring and didn't bowl, gary dean hasn't bowled all year due to knee tendonitis. Cove had a average start last year and ended up winning the flag so i don't think them losing 2 games before christmas is going to be a problem.
People say cove rely on to few but they have one of the most potent lineups in the league. Last year in the first final were bowled out for 70 and got smashed, then bowled porties out for 100 in the grand final and won so bring on the knockers and i hope they enjoy eating humble pie in march.
There is nothing wrong with being beaten by a better team on the day, morphies bowled tight and set good fields all day. I don't think morphies dropped a catch and cove dropped about 5 as well.

The hit out or get out tactic only works so many times around here, piss poor judgment by several cove bats cost them the game big time. They will lose more games than they win, they dont even train due to minimal numbers on the track.I believe the cove capt has no respect from any of his team-mates in either footy or cricket. No respect leads to no direction....

Shoes Vs porties g/f, Shoes in a landslide.

the eye u are on something if u think there judgement has anything to do with there 2nd loss for the year u need to look at the last 3 seasons results. if i had to choose what shoes i wanted to be in it would be cove by a mile. cove for me because at the end of the day they all will stay and have a beer with each other and they all would put there bodies on the line if it meant to win the big one!
and S.R.C.C are da bomb

Cove have got too many good players to be completely written off as a team.
Shoes are looking good though.

Hopefully Port can come good for me at the business end of the season.

The Shoes I'd like to be in are the Shoes !!!
Cove just don't impress me at the moment. That was a pretty bad sign losing against a side that is not a serious Premiership threat. It'll be pretty hard to "come from behind" two years running. My bet is a Noarlunga/Port playoff with Cove going out in the Prelim.
As for Morphett Vale, not a Flag contender just yet but they are clearly lifting. Now have scalps of both Cove and Port this year. I'm pretty confident they'll wind up the other finalist.

No way the Shoes are writing anyone off!!!

With a skipper like Jimmy who wouldnt allow anyone to get ahead of themselfes.

For me Cove are the side to keep an eye one with a number of talented lads but at the moment the old saying of "NO I IN TEAM" should be load and clear.

Wrong, there are three certainties ---- Taxes, death, and Noarlunga's 2009/10 Premiership.
All that remains now is to see whether Port or Cove get into the Grand Final with them.
