Not many teams lose a cricket game, when your opening pair put on 86. The Lodge A grade need to start getting to training and practicing like a Grade 1 side. This WILL be happening after xmas

We dropped our coach this week to bring in Kerr, our B's have fallen off the rails a bit recently so it was a no-brainer.

The batting wasn't completely horrible last saturday LM but in my opinion you could use one more genuine bowler... After the openers the quality definitely dropped a notch or two. The lads that bowled did keep a tight line but never really seemed dangerous.

A's or B's mate?

Your B's LM... did Kerr get a bat? his 44 the week before was a very scratchy but he hung in there so credit to him.

No mate, it was a wasted exercise in hindsight, he's scored 70*, 44 & 58*(T20) in the past couple of weeks, we only lost 3 wickets in the A's on Saturday. Morris carried his bat through the innings with 58*, Raed got 32*, Taylor and McMillan both got in the 20's.

Hi guys, so we are at the mid point of the season now so I thought i'd start a mid season review.
So far no surprises with the top 3 teams on the table, Currently westies Oth and Brahma.
They are the better sides in Grade 1 and deserve their spots at the top respectively.
Rose and Crown have been the big surprise packet for me, Not saying that i didn't think they would do well this year,
but they defenately have taken the opportunity to win once it has arrived.
Angle vale have also been solid this year and can consider themselves a bit unlucky not to be in the 4.
With Virginia sitting 2nd to bottom is defenately something i didnt expect as they have some very good players capable
of tearing games apart at the blink of an eyelid.
Predictions for the 2nd half of the season:
Westies to continue the solid pace and sit top coming into finals
OTH to be not far behind them with some more strong performances can be a real challenger to the title
Brahma on the back of sibs and brown to make the 3 and be the dark horse of the finals
Rosies to keep 4th spot and provide a real pain to other sides on their day, figallo to carry the bat and make plenty of runs in the 2nd half
Angle Vale seem to be too solid to be knocked off 5th position, will be a good effort for their first year in.
6th will be a battle between Atco and Virginia and could well come down to the last match of the year, with the recent
history between these two sides im sure no team will give in til the very end.
Unfortunately i cant see Salisbury North avoiding relegation with their current form, but with the likes of denengelse and bomber they can and will upset a few sides
vying for position on the run to finals.

Medal tips: Bowling to be won by Feltus
Batting still up in the air but should come from either myself, phil neil, Maccaferty, figallo or Natsias
Champ Player to be won by Sibbick as he is the most consistent player in our comp.
