Danyal Reynolds from Berri gives it a very decent whack, and does it with some regularity too.

Yep. Massive hitter of the ball.
Is very sharp with the leather in hand too.

Obviously Doc Clifford would have to come under this category too NS?

Yeah, certainly. He strikes the ball very well now and hits his share of sixes, but I've heard some stories of some massive hits in his younger days (one over the grandstand at Berri), so I reckon he used to hit it a bit further. Dan hit one over the RFL headquarters a couple of years ago, so that was a massive hit too.

Nice! I saw Nathan Rover hit one over the floodbank at Paringa Oval one day.
Biggest hit I've ever seen.

NS - you're lucky you played WITH Doc.
Yup, I've seen him whack some balls around.
Same with Reynolds.
Jayme Peltz is an under rated hitter of the ball.

Biggest hit I've seen though was Damien Critchley smacking the ball to the Mill Corner end of the Loxton Oval, the ball went one bounce into the fence that goes around the showgrounds.

Have also seen Reynolds tee off at the same time as another big hitter - Drew Crane. That was a fun 45 minutes.

Mal Howell from West Torrens was easily the best striker of a cricket ball I've ever seen, but as a grade player he might not count. Michael Fraser, currently at Flinders Park, hits the ball as hard as anyone I've played with or against. Saw him hit a six at Adelaide No 2 that passed over the Moreton Bay Fig tree at the northern end while still going up. It landed in the far lane of the road going up Montefiore Hill and bounced into the golf course.

Agree with the comment on Critter. That was a huge hit, but a tad lucky i think.

In Adelaide, the best hitters I played with were Warwick Potts and Darren Martin (goodwood).
