The thread is about him signing with North Gambier, nothing to do with the SANFL (and there is a specific dedicated forum for Country Leagues)...

The thread isn't about him leaving the SANFL, it's about a coaching appointment at North Gambier - a Country Team in Regional Football.

Read BAYMANs original posted text in full, and find me anything about his:
o playing past;
o Glenelg; or,
o the SANFL!!!

It's simply in the wrong forum. (but at least he's gone to the right footy level)...

It appears as though you have some sort of relationship with him Jabber, if so,any criticism of him will get your goat up. Perhaps not "taking the bait" or allowing people to have an opinion of him that differs from yours will be the way to go?

I have no relationship with Dogger. Met the bloke a few times and had a chat and that's it.

Just pointing out that for a bloke "with a lack of talent" to kick 7 goals against North suggests either he has or North hasn't.

Fair point. To kick 7 at SANFL level needs some talent, but as I said, others dont perceive him to be as good a player as you do, me included.

164 goals from 93 games, most when we were at the bottom of the ladder...pretty reasonable return

TSG said he had a lack of talent, we are refuting this, we arent saying he was a champion of the league

In no way was Macca my favourite player at the bay.
But I always thought he was played out of position a fair amount of the time.
He played some fantastic games on the wing drifting into the back half, but was quite often used deep in the forward line because he had the ability to make something from nothing and snag a few. I reckon they used him up forward more often than they should have, sometimes it paid off, other times it didnt.
It can be a tough gig up forward when you're not the focal point, not a great mark, and lack a yard of pace. But often he'd still kick a bag.

Despite what opposition supporters think (& who cares really) Macca will always be remembered fondly at the bay.
He's a good lad, very entertaining and great around the club.
Good luck Macca! Hope he does well
Yeah, Naah,..... Bollocks!

Wouldn't mind knowing his record against the Bloods i am sure we boosted his goals per game ratio.

Defianetly had some good skills and he did have a good year or two but what a lazy player!
Couldn't or wouldn't chase, and to me was the epitomy of laziness!!
For the skills he possesed he could have been alot better!
He may well make a good coach so good luck to him!

That makes no sense. You can't 'play' an opinion or a troll can you?
