Scroll up about 5 posts cosi ;)

But agreed - one of the best goals I've seen. Better than Beckhams effort against Southhampton all those years back IMO and dare I say - even better than David Bentley's effort against the scummers.

Oops should look a little further than my nose hey?

I think its deemed good enough to post twice anyways :) i loved it, so intentional and well taken, hats off to the guy!

Remember Robinsons against Watford a couple of seasons back? A free kick just outside his penalty area that bounced over the keepers head?? was good but unintentional!

here it is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fb5_ULy16-4

I'll never forget that one. I remeber watching it live and going bananas.
Feel free to post that one as many times as you like!!!

There was also a great Spurs goal from the 80's where the keeper kicked in and the ball was headed/kicked by several Spurs players but didn't touch the ground until it was in the back of the net off a Glenn Hoddle (?) volley.

Can't seem to find a link to a video anywhere. :(

Hasnt Alonso scored a goal from his own half with either foot...?

All he needs now is to head one from his own half for the complete hatrick..!!

The Spammers are in the poooooooo.
Cracking goal by James Milner from well outside the box. He's having a great year and will surely be on the plane to South Africa. Villa fans must be thinking Gareth WHO?

Always been a good player Milner, and he leaves nothing in the dressing room.

Whilst they're not gone, you'd have to say the Hammers are odds on to be in the thick of the relegation battle now.

Milner is exactly what england needs at the World Cup too - a player with grit and determination for when things get tough at the end. Lets just hope he can take a penalty!!!

Agree on the hammers too. Unless this buyout by Brum's old owners brings in some funds for Zola in Jan, they are in trouble. It's quite close at the bottom though, so a few good results and safety isn't out of reach.

No surprise there but sounds like it was a stupid foul anyway.

DA will be quite pleased after Spurs beat City 3-0. Man City are in a spot of bother, I can't see them qualifying for CL football.

Liverpool won 2-1 over Wigan and Burnley held Arsenal to a 1-1 draw at Turf Moor. Sounds like Burnley were robbed of the win, maybe JTC can shed some light on that.

You know it! What a great morning. Up the Yids, up the Clarets!
Crucial win for Spurs which keeps us in the hunt.
What a signing Krajcar is turning out to be. He put on an absolute show this morning and his 2nd goal was sumblime. The question is - will Modric get his spot back in the side  .

Not too sure about Citeh being in a spot of bother though. They are only 6 points off Villa and have a game in hand and we all know what Villa is like after they've had some Christmas Turkey.

Citeh looked OK at the beginning of the game, but fell away badly and didn't really challenge until we'd put 2 away.

Liverpool did their best to give the points away ... I missed the first half of the game, but in the second was some terrible moments of passing (although admittedly there was also some decent movement at times).

Insua and Aurelio provided some good width on the left, although the latters substitution for Lucas seemed strange and imho didn't add anything.

Gerrrard still seems to be a in big rut by comparison with his lofty standards, hopefully post Christmas he can get back to somewhere near his best - We're certainly going to need it!!
