Think you may find DW that he hasn't signed yet and he has trained at CLG, pretty sure he's undecided

Enc. Bay are offering a lot more than what he was on last year. Will $$$ be the over-riding fact in his decision.............

You could be right, although maybe he wants to play finals and not play in a team that could possibly be holding up the ladder. Im sure he will play at 1 of the 2 clubs.

He would get a kick. Div 6 is under-rated in my opinion.

Don't get me wrong D I'm all for a little banter and blog'n just can't believe some of the inflated ego's and abilities that escalate away from the reality of it all.

I've been play'n, coach'n and watch'n for over 20 years and the SAAFL game has gone backwards, many that I see on satdays would be lucky to play B grade footy 10-15 years ago.

Now I just sound like another ol'coger! ;)

Maybe it's just the club you are watching every weekend?! ;)

And I'm sure if Harvs applied himself he could go play Div 1 without too much trouble. Has all the attributes. Much like Corbett from your club.
I think he is just a victim of too much expectation and would probably thrive at a club where he is not seen as the 'star'.

Just trying to put some perspective on the Div 6 hype!

There's 2 Clubs out there everyweek and I get to see em all...and I'm still yet to see anyone in Div 6 that's a real star, worth all this press and dribble

Yes there are some with potential, like Corb's, some with a bit of talent too, like Harvey. But until I see one of these Div 6 guys win a match and then a premiership off his own boot I'll reserve my genuine adulation for those that deserve it.

Players who played their Senior careers for 1 club - Dominated and won Premierships, climbed the SAAFL Divisions and reaped the rewards of their success, players like Crammond, Morris, Rankine and Simpson.

Just putting it in perspective "guys and gals" - Div 6 is light years away from Encounter Bay and or Div 1 - and the boys you have mentioned in Harvey and Corbs might have struggled to get a kick on the later.

Just my opinion though, I still love ya Corb's - Just need a Premiership or two before I worship at your's and Bangaz feet ........

My point is this...... those who go searching rarelly find what they are looking for.....those that build it themselves find it right under their nose. Should put that on a bus ticket or bottle top...all rights reserved 8)

crammond morris rankine and simpson are real household names too. no offence but what is the highest lockleys have been ? harvey has talent but i think he thinks it is all about him and not the team, just the impression i got in the 3 times we played clg in 2008.I reckon he would rather be bog in a losing grand final than play bad in a premiership win fwiw ;)

What rock have half of you been living under ??? Anyone would think that Harvey has been born and bred at CLG , the bloke was playing A grade footy in the southern league as an 18 year old and being more than servicable. He will be a major contributor in the GSFL and would benefit from being in a stronger competition. anyone would think if he heads there he is jumping into a level of footy equal to the AFL

For whatever the press and dribble is worth, i would pick Nath Bryant as my 1st pick from Div6.

Obviously div 6 footy is exactly that but there is many a player in the comp that would easily get a game for encounter bay. It's not the how good the top 5 are in each team it's how bad the bottom 5 or 10 are that makes the div not as strong.
