I would also think that Adam Hunter who would be around 29 or 30 wouldn't come all the way over from WA for nothing

I think Giles and Hinge are probably more experienced than Hunter overall. Hunter is younger than you think BTW. I haven't seen him around WA recently, perhaps that's a sign.

Hopefully it's all verified soon so that we can be vinidicated.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

My recollections of him playing for the bays is looks like tarzan...plays like jane !!!! Won't be to hard too find out as one of Mconnell's ex-team mates in Matt Duldig's brother plays for opposing wbfl club Millicent.

Hows that leave Glenelg now, who are the rest of the losses

Mate personally as much as i hate to say it, you're doing exactly what we should have done after 08. Although you didn't lose as many good players as we did at the end of our 08 season, congrats for you're club not standing still and just thinking it will happen, regardless of being under the cap or not, who cares knowone seems like they pay attention to it anyway adding threee quality players can only help your chances in 2010....Now if only we could get someone off there ass to do the same thing down at the bay :?

Damn straight. I'm wondering who will crack first and expose the latest signature on a playing contract.

Hunter would be a great pick up if hes fit enough to play. I too thought he retired because he had an injury which pretty much jeopardised his after-footy life.

We know Rob Shirley had all but ruled out a return to the SANFL with the Eagles after being delisted by the Crows...

After being touted at one stage as a potential mature age rookie pick for the Gold Coast, even speculation he was going to be appointed captain of their VFL side next season, he has since withdrawn his nomination and will not be recruited by the new Gold Coast venture.

There were strong links to Shirley joining the cashed up ACT league and that has eventuated with one of Canberra's most financially strong clubs Ainslie looking very likely to sign the former AFL tagger. He will be furthering his career in the building industry over in the nations capital as well...

I'd like to think he's fit if the club are looking at him. I think Hunter will be a good pick up, not sure about a "great" pick up as he's yet to prove himself in the SANFL. This will be the test for him IMO
It's all the SANFL's fault.

And by all accounts Hunter is extremely fit and raring to go
