Time to sell? Well, you'd get short term profits, no doubt. But I've read a few articles suggesting that within a relatively short time (i.e. next 18 months or so) $1200 will seem ridiculously cheap...

You have to remember there are people with a vested interest in talking it up.
People were saying that in the later 1980s when it high for the time then, yet within a week it had halved.
It doesn't go up forever, but drops off when people regain confidence and start to move back to shares and property.
Bank rates rising mean people will start to think about taking their gold price profits to move back into that sector.
I'll buy into gold after it has dropped next, I wouldn't buy in this high...

Yes, that's true; I'm sure most people who write 'business' articles have vested interests. And definitely gold dropped massively a while ago. Let's face it, most of us would just be guessing if things will go up or down, if we knew, we'd be millionairres. (Perhaps some others on here already are millionairres, and it's just me who's not?? :) )

Well, you seem to know what you're doing, thats for sure. Good on you! Do you go to Adelaide Exchange for your gold, or elsewhere?
