At work.

Sounds like a good story. Elaborate

I work at a sporting rec center, our Sunday nights is our Mens soccer competition, it's a fairly competitive comp, we have alot of players who play in the higher amatuer divisions as well as many players who play for federation sides, most players on average are between the 18-25 age bracket.

The last two Sundays the very first games have had to be cancelled due to all in brawls, this Sunday though one of the players brothers (age 16 at most) was watching the game upstairs. When the fight broke out he comes storming down the stairs threating his going on the court to kill everyone. I stop him in his tracks, as 12 guys punching on is enough we don't need spectators getting involved and making matters worse.
He then tells me "to get the f**k out his way"
to which i reply "one your not going onto the court, go back up stairs and calm down and two don't talk to me like that when there is kids around"
he then says "get the f**k out my f**king way before i hit you."
By this stage all the women and children have gone up stairs to not get involved
I then had a Glenn McGrath moment.
"you ever threaten to hit me again and i will rip your f**king head off, now get the f**k out of this stadium"
He walked out the doors and once the door had shut behind him he procedded to play the image of losing the plot, standing out there yelling and screaming and threating to kill me and so forth.
I don't get paid as a security guard yet every Sunday night i am having to kick people out the center, one day im gonna lose my 5hit and end up hitting one of these duds, which will result in me also losing my job.
Sounds like the Craigmore YMCA?

Banks

Had settlement for our new house today or so we thought.

Phone call at 11 am from our conveyancer , Vendor's bank forgot to arrange the deeds to be sent to Adelaide.

Cancel removalists, service connections etc etc

Response: they will aim to settle by Monday.

No Worries, after spending 4 weeks running around like a blue arse fly, they can't even sort out the main document to be available

What a stupid study. I suppose the stories will be 'modernized' in the same way they've ruined the Winnie the Pooh and Noddy. FFS they reflect the attitudes and society of the time they were written...if she wants a more suitable story for today's kids then she should bloody well write one.

I grew up reading all those books and there were plenty of others that favoured female characters in the stories like the Katy books, Little Women, Black Beauty etc etc etc. As for more control over kids tv...she's already got that...it's called an 'off' button...if she doesn't like them then don't buy or watch them. My godson and his sister loved Thomas and I actually think they helped to teach them however to co-operate and work together to get things done.

I thought the PC nuts had gone too far when they pushed the ban on "Biggles" and Enid Blyton's "Famous Five" kid's stories...
They'll want to ban "2 1/2 Men" from TV next...

Stupidly thinking i could move and field so i dove for a ball and landed a little too much on my elbow and out the shoulder popped, thankfully it went back in after about 5 seconds. Quite tender today though.

Thinking back to the day the family went and looked at a Beagle pup, since we already had one Mrs.Boon asked :

Are you sure you want a second one,I'll understand if you dont?

I said "Yes, lets get her".

Why, why did I say that?
