Ramblers yes, WOS not so sure. Would love to see Belair in, nice part of the state and one less drive further North wouldn't hurt!

Looking forward to hearing how the pitch plays and if it varies a great deal from day 1 to day 2!
From my experiences there, the main oval (is that the ground your playing on?) is a cracking pitch! Pity we played them there on their hardwicket. Would have liked to play on the turf pitch!

Tight Lines, we have the new guy Alan Sutherland (not sure if thats correct) this week. Tony Fromene said that he is not overly internet savy and has not been able to do the umpires each week!

Having a quick look at section 2, looks like Belair and Warradale could possibly push for promotion come years end! If North Haven A grade come bottom, and the B grade still maintain the form and make the 4, surely they will go down this year one would think?

dont worry ck ramblers and wos will get up no worries, and from my experience the oval were playing on has very good drainage so dw about that, very green tho and a very short boundary on one side. the main oval has recently had a new square put in ck cause the old one was about 25 years old, and yes it was a cracking pitch, one of the best turf grounds in the state.

im all for more teams in the hills area, less driving time!! wooooo, good luck to all teams on the weekend

WOS all out for 96 or so, ramblers 1/101 dec and WOS 1/6.

The grounds are by far and away the best we play on. The turf pitch was pretty good albeit a touch slow.

Personally I get more movement from matting but certainly enjoyed the experience.

Bays 140 wyc 3/51.
C wright 3 wickets Hopkins 2. O'Malley top scored batting at 11 with 27. We let them off the hook with a 50 run last wicket stand.
Should be a good finish to the game next week.

did bowl well, as did tight lines with 3/16 off 9. had them 7/82 off 41 at tea break.

good to finally finish a team off when have them on the ropes

What, no time for the bbq, but plenty of time to get on the forum? Get your priorities right Roseboy.

If every turf pitch was like the one we played on today I would enjoy turf cricket. It was consistent and held up very well. Ball doesn't get up at all but super surface and the field immaculate. It would bring spinners (esp leg spinners) into the game big time.

If the Ramblers Skipper had some legs we wouldn't have lost a wicket in the chase today - great effort Ramblers... and with McRae already out again it's going to be a big effort for Westminster to post a total they can defend next week. Should be a great finish ether way with both teams a sniff.

That is huge for the Ramblers, getting McCrae out in the second dig already!

Thats 2 out of the last 3 games you have been involved in a run out AF ;)

Good result for you boys!

As with us, had Glenelg ANA 9/90 until OMalley played his shots, they had luck and made 140. Luck as that two inside edges for four, and one overthrow for 4 that was a run out chance, hit the concrete and went over the 2 people backing up for four!
3/50 in the chase, its in a good situation for both sides, as clearly they are a bowling side! Hopefully with Hopkins and McCormack in, we will get the runs 3 down, but Luders in next which adds a bit of depth since we won the toss and bowled (S.Wright swapped with Luders).

Morphies with a dominant performance, and the confidence to declare with 8 overs to go on day 1! Would be interesting to see North Havens chase, but i reckon there a slight chance!

Well done to Keitho from Sheidow on his first Sect 1 5 fa...Couldnt happen to a nicer bloke and i know he has been working hard for it!!

Pretty long day for Keswick in Section 6 cant believe the score 5 for 614 3 hundreds Paul Griffiths one of the clubs long serving players 264 Tony Roper coming back 168 and one we wont mention (Sheidow boys know why) 125 off bout 10 overs. 54 fours and 50 sixes hit for the day 2 Partnerships one of 333 followed by a 223 run stand off 14 overs. Must feel for the Keswick boys but our F's have been flogged every week and was good for their skip who has done a good job to have a smile and without stacking his side.
