Firstly some criterea :
1. My team will be made up of S.A Gaelic Football Players from 1990-2009.
2. This team is based on domestic performance with team success being relevant but not essential
3. To avoid personell discussion. New Revolution Co-Founders J.Fay + T.Javor will be ineligeble in my team.
4. State or Australasian representation or selection is not considered a pre requisite
5. This team will be pre dominantly ability based therefore issues such as weight, looks, skin complexion, suspension records and life bans will not be taken into account.
6. I will not be putting the clubs represented next to the names as i see this task as a chance to recognize the best i have seen not turning this into an inter club or political argument.
7. As brilliant as some players have been in a season. I am placing a 2 season minimum eligibility for my team. Several AFL,VFL,SANFL have shown me a lot in individual seasons but have never been seen again.
8. Selection is based on all Gaelic games.Whether they be Senior,Minor,7,s,9,s,13,s or 15,s.

Damian o Hagan, Mick Tobin, Gavin O Reilly, Reever, Popey, Gags, Wade, Lushy, Andy Ladhams and Jamie Phillips honorable mentions. People forget just how good Damian O Hagan was in his prime!
A nice blend of clubs even if there is a Wolfhound bias to it. O'Neills have a couple, W.I and Onkas are represented as are the Gaels.
Good to see Richard Press is not forgotten. One of the best I played with. If you knew Dave Howell from Flinders, he and Richard were carbon copies. A midfield of those two with Blutey and Egan around the place would never have lost a kick out. Darian was an outstanding keeper in Soccer. It goes to show that there has never been a dominant keeper in our time anyway. Not sure how Micky will feel in a corner with the Hendo boys!
Junior Hennessy Liam Hennessy Neil O'Reilly
Gabe Phillips Paul Blute Ken Fay
M.Egan/ R. Press
Kieran Mc Straw Burgo Reynolds Jon Flo
Mick Lawlor Peter Henderson Craig Henderson
Darian Bauer

My team would kick your teams ass...
Some points for discussion MG
1. No Wade...2 x player of the year
2. Was Paul Smith unlucky or what. You said that when you debuted that he was the best in the comp !!!
3. Darian was a superstar keeper at soccer, not Gaelic
4. Not one Croation in the team ????
5. Kyle Reeves has won cups at 3 different clubs and a player of the year in 3 different Gaelic comps.
6. I did not see your corner backs play too much at corner back in their careers.
In summary, my teams heaps better than yours man... Looking forward to the eclectic assortment that will be making up the O,Neills only conglomeration of old farts.

As for the Hendo/Lawler backpockets spots...how short your memory is melba.
Mick Lawlor actually has an All Australian Centre Half Forward medal but he also missed out in Sydney in 87 in the team at back pocket. They guy they called out played about a half a game for us. We all knew it was Mick's medal.
I think that is the only mistake in the history of the All Australasian teams...

A simple lack of numbers or was there something else involved?
Seven players pulled out an hour before the game, leaving us with ten players. Extremely embarrassing for the club and disappointing to the players. Apologies go out to the western Ireland players that were ready for a match. Im sure they were looking forward to a competitive, hard fought game, I know I was.
As for Zeleny Chucks.....you are a knob
Do you need some players Neville!?
