You can enlighten me as to our 'model citizens' and remind me of all my whinging tomorrow night. I expect you have something to support that.
Since you asked, our players have all been told that any on or off field indiscretions will result in suspension or relegation with no more warnings and all players are comfortable with that. I also think our captain knows where to draw the line between between a sledge and stupidity. If I thought he didn't it would be my responsibility to step in. Would you do the same at WYC?
You are right if Robbie was to step out of line, as he has in the past, then it is my responsibility to pull him into line whether that is just a caution or a suspension.
Your captain wouldn't know the line between a seldge and stupidity i am sorry i can't say he would.
Not sure what other clubs policies are in regards to player suspensions but if the association were to suspend one of our players we automatically double the suspension, whether we agree with it or not. Do other clubs have a similar policy?
Our club has given final warnings to players in lower grades based on the reports from opposition captains, complimented by our players thoughts.
Look forward to seeing you tonight.
