I`ll disagree with ya Bum Crack.Don`t get me wrong Kruger can play, but Keller was held in very high regard at Waikerie.Keller can play in any position and i think if Keller stayed for another year Waikerie would have had a better chance of 3 in a row.If i had to recruit and choose between the 2, I would go with Keller by a country mile.
On another note,i wonder how the B grade comp is going to go in 2010.There was alot of older players running around last year and with the current economic situation in the riverland I can see some clubs strugglin to field teams.

i would be interested to hear others thoughts????

Good point mate. I'm certain Kellar would be a lot better player as far as a club man and positions etc, but as far as talent, Kruger is by far on top. A 5'6 onballer that can kick 10 goals in a game, while he is actually on the ball and not resting, does it for me. I agree with you though mate on the rest of what u said.

It makes you wonder how far Kruger could have gone with his footy if he had his head screwed on properly? you`d have to say another wasted talent running around in the country.

Heard kruger did do a stint with Gleneg in his younger day. don't know if it is true or not.

Any truth to the rumour Berri are throwing some cash at another Barmera ex-junior, who most recently had a stint at cobby? Decent coin as well apparently, around $250, not bad for straight out of the indys.

I had a Barmera player come up to me saturday night at the pub and told me he was keen to have a kick elsewhere next year and he was looking at Berri. They must be in disarray down Barmera way. What's happening there?? This player also ex team of the year player, so is quite handy.
So you've seen everything have you?

Can't think of who that would be. can confirm that we will lose around Four players but will bring in around nine or ten.

I concur with BC. No player from the Indys has been offered money.

Who is picking up the players from Vic though?

If you guys think we have money to burn, I reckon take a good hard look at the Roos.

Have been splashing out the big bucks for years now.

Even offered Storic $700 a game the year after he won the Whillas. Lol.

Can anyone from Lakeside confirm Mick Millard will move to Adelaide to have a crack with Westies?

Lachy Middleton also to town?

Lachy has been in town for around 18 months still front up for the roos. Millard might have a crack at west. The offer to storic was at the whillas medal and it was more a joke. Kym sampson has been offered 250 a game plus insurance.

What is Fish Callahan doing with his footy this year? Have heard conflicting reports of missing the first half of the season in favour of overseas travel but have also heard he is heading back to town for a crack with Westies.

Soulds like Sampson is playing you along. He isn't playing for Berri. We don't have enough points to accommodate him, unless he wants to play B Grade. Any points we have left will be used on players of a higher standard than Kym. I'd say he has the shits because Barmera only offered him vouchers to play and Berri told him he wouldn't be getting paid if he went there. As if any club is going to offer $250 for an independent player. Have a good think about it boys.
