i liked to bat long periods of time too in the 2 day comp but pretty much went at a run a ball in the oneday stuff... he can adjust, and im sure sambo can bat at 4... if you are good enough to open then you can bat anywhere...

whether rowe would want to play is up to him but thats a different story alltogether, you would pick your best 11 wouldnt you? not just the 11 you think would turn up on the day...

LOL after last year, im absolutely positive that Skinny would pick 11 that he thinks would turn up, even if that is the 3rd best team that our comp could provide. EG: see the first game against turf, and last game at Mitchell Park!

pretty much at a run a ball? I understand you hack on sundays but you dont hack that good JB ;)
Im not sure if he could adjust, thats why im asking Bazza? i have not seen him so im asking for his captain to speak about it, im not sure if you have seen him either but i cant pass too much judgement, and im just saying him batting at 6, could he score at a quick rate if needed?

PS: luders average, is it better?

Huh? Where'd you get that from? I thought the talk was fine? I'm always happy to have a chat.

As I said previously, I won't go into what was said/done in a public place like this. It doesn't do anyone any good and you end up just looking foolish for everyone to see.

I really thought the matter was over with. Caleb777 didn't even mention you guys and Bloods just had to arc up about it. Can we just drop it FFS?

Maybe you should look into it a bit more "buddy" because your wrong there!! ;)

Im just saying you brought up about the runs, however the average of luders is above his! Depends what you go on, but IMO luders would be a better fit, just from what iv seen of him, because i am yet to see Devine bat!

Also, Luders would be another one unavailable for association games so it means SFA anyways!

RB, i must have misread your previous post. i gathered from that, you were having a dig at our conversation thats all. Obviously wrong, my bad

But we just find it funny about Caleb777 talking about sportsmanship thats all. I understand why Bloods arced up. Maybe Caleb777 at the end of the game with the votes and sly remarks would have something to do with Bloods arcing up???

my thoughts exactly, i mention about sheidow is 1 of the better attacks and they talk they're team up... i say keswick and ana are clear favourites and it comes back to wyc's finals records, theres 1 or 2 wyc players in my ass. team and there is uproar hehehe

but what do you expect RB this is the WYC forum

On a lighter note, I'm sure the Ramblers bowlers would agree that Devine can play the one day game just fine. Blasted his way to 40 on saturday before was a touch unlucky to get out to a gem of a catch ;)

Good to see you learnt from your first indiscretion there Caleb777 ;)

I did see the "tap on the shoulder and well batted" you gave hoppy at the end of his innings! That was not called for but you gave it so it was noticed and appreciated thats for sure ...

Not disagreeing on the "after match" remarks tho are you Caleb777 because they are fact and from your mouth!

And yeah well we will have to agree to disagree on the onfield stuff!

AF, as iv said i have not seem him bat, and from what i have gather JB has not either (not sure if thats correct)! obviously he can bat (everytime he plays he makes runs) and since you have played against him, how do you rate him against the other better bats in the comp?

he was a bit lucky at the start of his innings, but once he settled in was hitting them very cleanly and more importantly he can hit them straight not just to cow. and ure right, the catch that got him was a blinder

And the catch was definitely a blinder  and hoppy hit straight? did ya watch it C777? as shown by his dismissal (which im hoping you were watching otherwise it was definitely a blinder) he loves cow corner! Just got a leading edge to gully (or point) cant remember where you were!

Confused me there now!

But yeah, hoppy tried to hit over mid wicket, and skied it to you at gully! Im suprised JC didnt run in and try to catch it the way he was going that day, just ask your bowler (ferris??) when they ran into eachother!!

Just when i thought this forum was full of people who liked to chat intelligently & with some wit about our great game, & that i would have noone to argue with along comes jb. I will dumb it down for you a bit so you can keep up. Your boozy, early morning mouthful may not be on here any more for one reason or another but here is my rhetoric (that means comeback). Yes Morphies oval is a pastie shape in footy season due to the goals being misalighned. During cricket season it is a wonderful oval, covered in lush green grass, great CLUBROOMS with clean toilets, not a rock riddled 10 cent piece with a 50 foot drop from one side to the other at a primary school in the middle of nowhere. Congratulations though on being right anout me, I am a veg. As to your comment on us all being cum stains on your sheets, one way to help that situation jb, get yout team mates to swallow.

Bit harsh on JB there Moe. Think he generally talks a bit of sense ;) And as he said, dont know if its true or not, he left his login open! He was right about the pastie shaped oval  and i think Sheidows farm is better then you give credit for. It provides a great place for our Garden Gnome to hide thanks

Don't know if i was harsh CK. Just because he left his login open, does not excuse drivel. Like saying "Sorry babe i was drunk, did not mean to sleep with your sister"

then i was suprised to see him umpiring the sec4 or 5 grand final by the end of the year and he gave me old man out lbw and it hit him on the thigh pad.

but with all due respects the guy is a good bloke but he just cant umpire! it is honestly a joke that he continues to get games. weve had him 4 times in the games ive played and everytime he gets a scathing report! so what is the point of them if they dont even acknowledge them?

I heard about him having a stroke, and hopefully he can make a full recovery and his health can get back on track! Good luck to him with that!

He seemed a really nice bloke we had him JB, but i agree he cant umpire, however, this is why he will not get a sect 1 game again, and i dont think the association is in a position to knock back an umpire no matter how bad they are. Unfortunately thats the way it is with umpires at the moment!!

I know Affix8 still gave him a good report, thought he was alrite, just his communication skills are far too behind thats required as a cricket umpire from A8's point of view!

Better to have a neutral ump that is consistently bad then a biast umpire isnt it? i think so!

We had him in round 2 against Westminster and he was the worst umpire I've ever had, and we got the better end of it. I doubt we'll get him again any time soon, giving a 0 in an umpires report gets Tony's attention pretty quick!

Round 6 Matches
Match of the Round WYC v ANA - Going with WYC Dunno why, probably the hoppy form
Westminster to beat Ramblers because its on turf
Plympton to replace Ramblers in 4 by beating Sheidow
Keswick to cement 3rd spot over with win over Coro with Heath hitting 3rd ton before over indulging on the xmas break, putting on 3 stone and being dropped in bizarre circumstances
ICC to belt South road because i hate ém
MPCC to just pip North Haven beginning a 6 match winning streak including an outright win over WYC first game of the new year, Hopkins & Whenan heard saying, "Best side We have ever played"

Hey, 'tis the season of miracles!
