You f......g beauty JAQUES out last ball of the day.
JAQUES c Bailey bowled Taity 48
NREBSW 2/96
TAIT 1/39
DIZZY 1/25

Come on lads lets skittle them for 200 tomorrow and WIN outright.

PS how does the talented star allrounder Mark Cleary feel not
getting a game as a BATSMAN :!:

MT79 The only similarity I have with MANOU is the first 2 letters in his name.
[and hes a better cricketer than me]

Correct Weight Mal...was just thinking about him today...saw him score his maiden ton late last year and played well...surely a good alrounder is what we need to provide depth

TAIT
GILLESPIE
ROFE
CULLEN
BAILEY
CLEARY

All good bowlers but how do we fit them in. :?:
And if Ryan Harris gets fitter......

I am confident the bowlers will come good
The batsmen :?:

Gotta play CLEARY in the o/d games at least

Greg Blewett would be a handy player if he regains form.

another disastrous day wtf is going on? the top order is shite at the mo, i see some critiscism of the keeper,, i have aloways thought that his batting is questionable but i saw him carve up the tasmanians in jan in tandem with boof in a pura cup match, who are the alternatives? as for flipper i was calling for his head when we were struggling in 04/05 but the hierachy stuck with him - i would love to be proved wrong but my opinion is he was undisciplined as a player so why would he be any different as a coach? back to this game, still 3 days to go jacques is gone so hopefully we can run thru them in the morning. c"mon boys!
Go The Tiges!!!

NSREBW 2/99 3 runs in nearly half an hour zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

After all the talk about LUCK of winning tosses how stupid is
the QLD captain today.

First game TA bundled out in the
o/d game in Brisbane,
QLD bat 2nd and Maher/Hayden killed Tassie and QLD
get the bonus point.
This morning in a MORNING [early start] QLD win the toss at Bellreve and bat.[the opposite]
QLD 3/33 after 10 overs.

Obviously some QLD people dont read this site.

Hilfenhaus impresses again , got Hayden out AGAIN.

NSW 5/185 about lunch time.
Tait 3 wickets
still a hope.
Im now going down to the oval, I will try and find Wayne Phillips
and have a chat to him about how to run our team

QLD now 3/130 after 32 overs, me and my big mouth !!!

SA 2/103 still 30 off the lead.
How does the worst batting line up in Australia get to 288[only worst
until the national players are back]
Casson at number 7 followed by CLARK/NICHOLSON/BOLLINGER/MACGILL
makes it a very long tail.
TAIT took 4 wkts, he's back.
Very interesting field setting for TAIT to OBREIN today, with 2 behind square
and 2 just in front of square leg, TAIT bowled a succession of short pitched
deliveries at OBREIN
It was almost reminicsent of LARWOOD at the same oval about 70 years ago.
NSW made 288 a lead of 134.
BAYMAN said at the start of the SA 2nd innings" If we are only 2 down at stumps
we have a chance Mal."
I advocated a more attacking approach in our 2nd dig, unfortunately I couldnt
find Flipper today to advise him.
DIETZ + ELLIOTT took a cockroach approach and both failed at 2/12
They both need to bat down the order in future.
DIETZ as a keeper + number 7 yes...as an opening batsman no...
He failed as an opener most of last year, nothing has changed.
ELLIOTT needs runs soon especially with BLEWETT getting runs at district level.

Child COSGROVE + Baby BORGAS defended stoutly to about 2/20 odd and then
the whole complexion of the game changed when COSGROVE exquisitely squarecut THORNLEY to the point fence, the kids then played positively and we reached a commendable
2/103 at stumps.
Both were severe on MACGILL.
COSGROVE a half century at stumps ignited the partnership.
BORGAS was circumspect early and then accelerated to be 30 odd at the close.
BORGAS looks an opener[take note flipper] he is a stellar batsmen who defends stoutly
and then every so often plays a blazing stroke to a loose ball.

Can we win, yes a lead of 200 may well be beyond NSW if JAQUES is out early, exposing
a fragile middle order and a very very long tail.

NSREBW at this stage, but we can still win.

Ahh yes TAS beat QLD today, the side batting 2nd in the morning/day O/D games wins AGAIN.

If Stewie Clark bowls like he did today there will be no Monday DUTCHY.
The forgotten 3rd fast bowler in the first test :?:

Yeah if we get 250 up I would be very confident.

Just finished watching the TA V QL game on tape.
Travis Birt can bat wow, his leg side shots are awesome.
He reminds me of the way Rodney Marsh used to bat.

the boys have a chance to get something out of this game.

the lads at bat now need to build on what they have.

set NSW about 250 - 300 on the last day.

this your chance lads to try and shove it up your critics
