Thomas doesn't count, as he was sacked not even after the first round of games.

I've heard nothing of any of those boys leaving, apart from the 3 I was refering to, in Raidis, Bell and Robertson, especially Krueger, who I know will be staying on with the club. Muffy is on board.

And question mark over Gabb, Linde and Sumner? Gabb is returning, question mark on Linde is absurd, his old man is a life member, current runner and his mum is heavily involved in the committee and the kid loves the club. As for Sumner, he'll definately be there according to my news.

Can confirm that Vickers will be moving on to Brighton, citing work as his motivation. 3 years down at Tailem, was great to the club on field and made himself a local during his time, so big loss there.

Not entirely accurate there AB. I have it on excellent reputations from within the club that they did indeed tell 3 of the above mentioned that their services are no longer required, not because of their playing ability but their lack of commitment to the club as far as training, after games etc.

Exactly. I think whilst the club acknowledges these players are of good quality, you'll never be successful with a team that has a handful of blokes who never trained (not once) during the season, and probably don't know their team mates names. Jervios success this decade was with a close-knit group, recruits and locals... I think Tailem is trying to emulate that and a lot of emphasis will be on disipline and team bonding this year, as opposed to 'ring-ins' for a quick fix solution to a poor recent record.

You'll never be successful with blokes that belt there own teammates in a final. Tailem need to pay the right players next year and stop throwing more money at people to stay. Would like to know how much money Dent spent. Nothing to show for it. all the recruits he bought have now left. Back to the drawing board.

Hansen unlikely to be allowed back?? This sounds like rubbish to me. He's likely to be forging a career at Sturt and possibly the AFL (currently training with Port Adelaide) but not allowed back? Thats just silly i would have thought.

I think you missed my point GWW, as I wasn't meaning TB not allowing, but Sturt! If u r in their league/reserves squad they are very hesitant in letting u return for a game on byes etc. And this kID imho will be part of that squad for sure. Will be looked at very seriously by more then 1 AFL club.

OK understood now Goldberg.

Why are there ??'s over Linde? As someone else mentioned, that seems unlikely, unless he's been offered money to play at Karoonda or Peake.

I will back my statement on Kruger & Muffy, and happy to appoligise if I'm wrong! As for the doubtful one's, well thats why I only had them as a question mark. If Gabb is only staying for the $$$, what happens when Karoonda or Cove offer more? I also noticed u mentioned nothing about Aspel Marks & John, are you conceding they may not be there?

I think any Hansen would be welcome anytime at Tailem  As for Linde, I must admit, this was based on nothing but the fact he has been allegedly approached by Lions

Is your information that Krueger and Muffy may be going to Peake or Karoonda? Both would be a big loss to the Eagles, especially Krueger given his age and ability to play full back.

Re Linde..... Lions? you mean Peake?

Re Marks, i don't have any specific information, but he would presumably still be worth 2 points, the club may be better off using their points on key position players/midfielders.

Kruger to Peake & Muffy is retiring. Look I'm not trying to have a go or anything, but these are the rumours going around at the moment. If I'm wrong I'm wrong. Tailem needs both really & the league needs a strong Tailem, so hopefully they do stay, but I think they're not. And yes couldn't agree more on the Marks statement GWW! better off getting some value for those points

No worries Goldberg. Although Tailem won the under 17's grand final so obviously have some handy juniors coming through, they simply can't afford to lose blokes like Krueger and Linde, especially with the rumours on here about Daniel Gregory maybe going to the Southern League.

Linde, Kartinyeri and Krueger to stay at Tailem. That's all there is to it.

I appreciate that you are just reporting the rumours, and I'm glad to know they are going around, but the trio will be at Tailem.

Ah, I must sound really optimistic to everyone here, but once again, Tailem Bend will have Daniel Gregory in 2010. Sorry guys, telling you how it is, all 4 at Tailem Bend. I put all my credibility on this forum on it.

last year all the talk on this forum was about Taliem & where did they finish? Surley you guys up there must have other clubs that you can talk about & will be in the finals. I doubt Taliem will be there.

I see your point, but the discussion on Tailem is probably based on the fact that if they lose all the players that are rumoured they could really struggle. And if people post on here particular information about a club's possible INs and OUTs then that tends to set the scene for subsequent posts. I'm sure if posters post about other clubs' movements there will be a lot more talk about these clubs as well.

What RMFL news do you have "happy"?
