Played WAFL I reckon before coming over. Top bloke. Would want to be a good deal to get him to leave us. I know he might be keen on a coaching role at some point. Whered u get your info?

dreaming there. no question hes a quality country footballer. reasonably skilled, tall and mobile certainly, but never really played a role that befitted his build. Used to do it easy on a wing or a half back flank rather than take on the game in the ruck to which a player his size should be suited. As for SANFL, possibly before his knee recon but AFL, you must be kidding.

Braun (Chris) had a good year this year and could be a good candidate to captain the Bluds next season.

Both Brauns are top blokes. Steve would be a great captain if you could get him to talk
Heard Peake were chasing them $$$

Cant see to many more going. Great club, just to have to rebuild. With some good recruiting + possibly the Hill boys, Jack Kluske & Fidge returning from interstate & injury it wont take them long. Im sure the new coach has spoken to all the boys & will have them ready to go for 2010.

Badly!! spent alot for the last 2 years with no REAL results, & a big player exodus in 2010

Exodus?? I'd be interested to hear what you are refering to?

I know that there was a risk of Tailem losing 6-7 locals, out to Karoonda, with Hogarth and Gregurke in talks with Smelt, but since Hogarth's appointment as captiancy all the locals are staying around according to a mate in the playing group.

And I'm aware that Tailem have decided not to ask back 3 of their former recuits as it was decided they weren't doing enough for the club to warrant keeping them.

So could you shed some light on the exodus? Hope I haven't missed something?

drama if you think people believe you that the club asked recruits not to come back you are silly. That club needs every player they can get they are now offering patt gabb up to 550 a game to stay thats how desperate they are so the real facts are no one wants to play there

Not entirely accurate there AB. I have it on excellent reputations from within the club that they did indeed tell 3 of the above mentioned that their services are no longer required, not because of their playing ability but their lack of commitment to the club as far as training, after games etc.
