Perhaps not the shits, but seeing an old bloke knocked off his gopher on Henley Beach Rd about 2 hours ago wasn't much fun.

Before you ask, yes, he was "ok". Bleeding from the head and in shock but relatively ok compared to the mini-bus driver who hit him.

Hope the old codger is ok... :(

No,trying to cross a side street. He was on Henley Beach Rd footpath and attempting to cross over the side street right opposite the Royal Hotel. Bus driver coming out the side street ( in little van ) didnt see him.

Poor bugger.... Sadly, you often see Gopher riders propelling themselves down the road rather than the footpath... Henley Beach Road isn't even a good place to drive a car on as it is with it's inside lane crowded with parked cars ... but I guess with the state of some of our footpaths neither are they safe !!
