The PAOCFC is pleased to announce that we have nominated a fourth side for season 2010. This side will play in Division C5. We understand a lot of Old Scholars may have been put off coming out to the Reds thinking they may not be able to get a game due to the large playing numbers. We hope this decision by the Committee will encourage these players to join the Reds next season.
The Committee felt a commitment to the side was the best approach as players can now sort out their playing intentions with the knowledge the fourth side will be part of the 2010 season.

from the web site. good too see! jimmy too coach?? or play!?

How do you know it will be in C5?

im lead to believe that is what was convayed by the SAAFL

Our "C"s played against each other this year

You might not like playing against our "D"s. Traditionally when we have 4 sides, they use the C side as the kindergarten and the D side as the graveyard. Could be some old, but very talented, players in the C5 side.

Some of the names being thrown around for the D's, sounds like the average age = mid to late 30's (excl\uding Jimmy) , average weight = mid 90's, low 100's (excluding Jimmy again).

Jimmy or any other PAC boys,

Any truth to the rumour you may lose a few players to Norwood? I hear the younger Dalwood is training plus a couple of others...would be a huge lost if lost Will as I believe he carried your ruck all year. Good ruckmen are hard to find!

haha indeed,

yes will, is currently training with norwood. hopefully for him he gets a game. think bass is pretty keen to fit him in somewhere!?! you would think starting in the ressies.
will ended up playing chb the 2nd half of the year but yeah always handy having him anywhere on the feild.

he is the only one currently though, ben gazzola is of o/s for the first half of the year but other then that im led to believe all are returning. plus a stack of new blokes.

Our C's go up to C3 automatically as our A's go up to Div 3.

was just curious because with sides like modbury nominating for div 7 the reflective nature of the c divisions is getting less and less.
eg c1 has shoc and henley in div 7 & 6
c2 has athelstone, modbury in div 7
always forgive your enemies...nothing annoys them so much

Don't say that, it's still 4 weeks to Xmas. How many clubs by the end of March I wonder?
Your club might get another chance after Xmas BC, do you really want it?

He's done his dash at our club, thought he was going to stick it out last season but in the end his true colours shone through.

Apparently Darren is meeting with Coxy over the weekend, so we'll see what happens there!

I think my info was pretty good seeing he trained with the club last week. And Im also led to believe that he is playing for match awards (vouchers) only. Wants to end his career where it started and just enjoy footy for a season or three.
