Not worth betting on any but the top three in my opinion...

I'd go even further and say top 2 only. Robin Van Placenta is out for potentially a looong period and aside from that, Arsenal will bottle it anyway and Spurs will finish 3rd ;)

Me too. chelski should win it from here. but something is just screaming that they will get stuffed in a couple of games by the lesser likes out to prove a point and subsequently let Utd back in.

And history has shown that if you give Utd even the smallest sniff, they'll collect almost every time. Just ask old King Kev!

Yeah they near almost do, but when Chelsea won the title twice under Jose, Sir Alex tried that warning to scare Chelsea. Result Chelsea won both titles by more than a 9 point gap.

I don't think Chelsea have that air of invincibility about them at the moment as they had during the Special One's era ... That said they have been getting the job done and are in the box seat so will be tough to peg back, but as DA said, if the Mancs get a sniff they are damn near impossible to hold out.

I competly agree and I dont for one moment think the title race is over, I just wanted to point out that Chelsea have been in that position before.

Dunno about Oz Fish, but in the UK you can place bets on who will finish 4th etc. Might be a bit more interesting although I think 3rd spot is pretty open.

I'm sad this morning. November is ending. I'd give anything for this month to continue purely to prolong the pain at the Arse.

Eight days ago
3. Scum 25 pts, +22
4. Spurs 22 pts, +6

Now
3. Spurs 26 pts, +14
4. Scum 25 pts, +18

It's a good looking table you've posted the Duce!

Don't forget they did hammer you not long ago though. ;)

I was hoping Arsenal would win to help United out, even a draw would do but I am not surprised they lost. They have a few players out and Chelsea are going along nicely.. but it is still early in the season.

Bah, that will be forgotten when we finish above them ;)

I feel dirty, but I was hoping for a chelski win.

That is a massive 3 pts in their title chase. Utd have it all to do.

Remember Wigan beat Chelsea not long ago so anything can happen. Arsenal's loss has pretty much made it a 2 horse race though. I think they will take 3rd, even though injuries could hamper them, but there is at least one Champs League spot up for grabs this season... Liverpool could still seal that if they get their act together. It is up to the challengers like Villa and Spurs to keep their consistency up and not drop off like Villa did towards the end of last season. City are an interesting one, 7 draws in a row or something now.. a few punters even tipped them for the title but they have been pretty poor.

could be very interesting this weekend if chelsea dont win against man city, which is a hard game even when they havent bought the world playing them at their ground, We have a catch up game this week i think, they are 11 points ahead, if they loose and we win both, it will be only 5 points :D

As much as it pains me to say, Liverpool need to find another %30 on the absolute best we have shown this season .. Even the win against Everton wasnt convincing (despite the scoreline) ... Obviously the results have been a concern, but more worrying has been the actual manner in which we've been playing.

We're usually good for a bit of a run at some stage during the season, so hopefully we have one up our sleeves because we'll need it thats for sure.

have noticed over the years yes LFC tend to win alot of their games over the christmas break so all hope is not lost. We also go on a good run. Even Arsene stated a few weeks ago that november tends to be our worst as theres international breaks always during that month and we tend to start getting the injurys around this time.

I think it is a tad early to decide who will win the title this year only to say that it should be a two horse race. Chelsea are in the box seat but they have had a couple of slip ups against week opposition.

United tend to be more cynical imo. Spurs are looking good and Harry has a bit of depth there too, so i wouldn't be suprised to see them steal 3rd spot. Arsenal will miss RVP badly and if anything happens to Fabregas, then they might struggle to hang on even 4th spot. I thought Villa were poor against the clarets last week and lucky to scrape a draw in the end but O'Neill is a good manager and now he is getting his best team on the field they could mount a serious challenge for a CC place.

Liverpool are just f$%ked at the moment. Thet were poor against Everton, despite the win, and have lost all there shape, and confidence. No money will restrict them in January and if Torres does go (and with him Rafa), a top ten may well be the best they can hope for.

City, despite thier 7 straight draws, have still only lost one game all year. thier problem at the moment seems to be keeping hold of a lead, but considering the cash available to Hughsie, the January window will solve that problem. Whilst I think it is a year too soon for city to challenge for the title, you can see that Hughes is strating to get a real team together. Maybe moving out Robinho in Jan might actually work in thier favour.

I would go as far as saying that the top seven will be the top seven this year, and the top two will be the top two. so it's just a matter of who will take 3rd and 4th. My revised tips would be

1 Chelsea
2 Man U

3 Spurs
4 Man C
5 Arsenal
6 A Villa
7 Liverpool
