Was a great player for the Rosters for a number of years as well as a couple of other clubs. Will be sadly missed by all, particularly his family.
RIP Bullfrog

Such a tragic loss.
The entire TTG Football Club is devastated at the loss of one of its favourite sons.

bullfrog was a fierce competitor on the field, and a great guy with a wicked sense of humor off the field.
truly is a tragic loss, so sad that his two little fellas will never know their old man.
thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Here is a great chance for the HFL to regain some respect and move ahead. It's now up to every club which has had issues with the President over the years to attend on December 7th and vote loudly and clearly for a long-overdue change.

BUT the SFL and the HFL have struck a deal for the next 10 years which will see the 2 comps play each other in under 13/15/17 and A grade on the Sat of the long w/end.(junior grades could change to 14/16/18) but it will happen with HFL hosting the first year and alternate year after. Dont recall the ground but it will be played under lights/trophys have been named/medals named/and HFL have even appointed their coach in B James!!
Dissapointing for all that would love to see the Lovelock and the rivalry with the GSFL but I believe the admin of another league couldnt come to the party so we at least get association footy.

I'm sorry but if you think that's a step forward, you're delusional!!! I'm not saying Owen's been brilliant - he's made MANY f***ups - but it's a thankless job and severely open to criticism. Problem is it's a job requiring the time and skills usually associated with a $75k+ job yet pays pittance....... know anyone with the corporate skills, footy nous and love of the game to have a go???? Tubby is NOT the answer!!

Totally agree. Although Owen stuffs up a bit, he is HEAPS better than what Tubby would be. IMO Tubby is to much of a loud mouth and is not very diplomatic or professional in the times I've dealt with him.
If anything, he should try and get voted onto the board for a couple of years first, and then try for president. At least that way the clubs can get an insight into the way he does business.

I think Owen would have been gone long ago if there was anyone else willing to stand. I'm assuming Tubby is the only person contesting the position. Owen has probably done a reasonable job in certain areas, the budget for one thing would take a lot of time to put together each week and I understand Owen does most of the selling of ad space in the budget, but I think he's gone past his use by date and a lot of clubs will vote against him for the sake of a change as much as anything else. Lets hope tubby does a better job.

You need to get up in the hills a bit more often and stop watching that garbage they serve up in the Amateurs!
