Our T20 comp copped a kick in the nuts last night when Craigmore pulled out after 8pm, sorry SF but it was pretty poor form, you guys could've done it two weeks ago and given us time to find a replacement, there will two games going ahead on Sunday though at Playford.

Playford vs Eastern Park @ 12pm
Smithfield vs TBA @ 3pm

LM I was told you had a phone call a fortnight ago letting you know we were struggling to get a team on the park, true or false?
You know I have nothing to do with the T20 comp, I struggle to play on Saturdays let alone backing up on a Sunday.
From 2 weeks ago we had about 6 players not available this Sunday for several reasons I have been told and couldnt get enough replacements, our olders players are not interested in playing like last year when we fielded about 4-5 U15s.
I agree its dissappointing but if you cant field a side wouldnt you prefer to know yesterday instead of Saturday?

What's Honda's and james07's, probably up there with the best batsman I've played against at PDCA level.

196 games 186 innings 31 not outs 5542 runs @ 35.75 199hs approx 200 wicket @ 13 approx we need to update the last few years but that s pretty close

I got told a fortnight ago that you were struggling for that week as you had a few going fishing. It really made no difference if it was last night or Saturday, what made it worse is out of all the blokes at Craigmore that I know well and get along with, you get someone who I don't even know to ring me. I told AJ two weeks I do not wish to discuss this matter with the person who rang me last night.
This is by no means a personal attack on you, I have the utmost respect for you and I know that some things are out of yours, Jacko's, Dobbo's or Grants control, I'm just a bit p'd as I have had several requests from other clubs to join our comp and have declined them.
Nevertheless, it will continue and we will get over it, all I have to say was that it was a bit disappointing.
Got some runs on the weekend I see.

How many seasons was he at Playford, did he play anywhere else, I would've thought he played more games for you.

LM dont know the circumstances of why players are unavailable.
The guy that rang you is our current President so he probably thought that he was the person who made the call not one of us older blokes who have taken a back seat.
I hope you can get another team in the comp and good luck.
Mate I am struggling to make runs seeing as I am playing C grade now, cant see the ball anymore..some might say I could never see it

He played at Playford for 2 seasons I think, not totally sure. He also played at Elizabeth North years ago and has a highest score of about 170 for them I think.
No doubt he can bat and bowl and field, bastard!!!And a good bloke to go with it

Only just, be alright if I could hang around for more than 4 overs though. I could never bat for sh!t anyway, I've got ugliest technique I've seen, I just get lucky occasionally.
