Having 3-4 boundary riders the entire day was extremely boring. Unless taylor attacked, they simply did not have to try and score. They worked 1/2 singles an over and that was it.
Was pretty poor captaincy in this game by Mohammad Yosuf. And good to see Umar Akmal debuting, i think this bloke is going to be something special in all forms of the game! Younger brother of Kamran aswell

Strange given that his List A, is nothing special (ave 29, 0 100s), yet his FC record is pretty good (ave 38 6 100s)
He is only 26 and in form (he is unbeaten on 159 for Otago today)
If the Kiwis are picking Elliott at number 6 on the basis he can bowl, its no wonder they are down the wrong end of the Test Championship

Bad luck! This bloke could nearly make us unbeatable if he was an Aussie at this point in time. He is probably the most important player to any one side in international cricket

Agree. Vetorri is one of the best players in the world and the best all-rounder going around. Absolute superstar.

This score has now taken him past 'someone' (not sure who) as the most prolific run scorer at number 8 in test match history. Just another record the NZ skipper/coach/mentor/assistant coach/manager/vice captain/legend racks up

As said earlier by me, Umar Akmal is a gun as his 129 on debut proves. What a star this boy could be! And not only was it an easy 129 but it was one under pressure with his country at 5 fa 80 odd chasing a big total. great effort by the young lad
