I wasn't. Knee-jerk reaction on your part.

I didn't begin proclaiming false facts about a religion I know little about.

Nor did I.

I made one and only one claim about a religion I know little about: that the number of adherents who will win The Big Prize (tm) is negligible. You confirmed this claim. The remainder of the post was personal opinion: that because of this one fact, which you yourself have confirmed, the JWs has little going for it as a religion.

I think Pseudo's reply was quite clear and I took his post as he explained it. Plus it's noones fault if their Nanna is a loon and they shouldn't take that to heart. Personally I think anyone that believes in fairy stories like god in this day and age is a loon not just one or some cults, and that's my opinion and I'm entitled to it.

Now now. No need to say his nana is a loon. That's a bit below the belt.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Well yeah kind of but I didn't single out his Nanna as was insinuated.

He was very specific about his nanna being a loon where I quite clearly stated my opinion about all religious people. It's OK though as a lot of my family and friends are loons, I still like them! :)

Yeah sorry about that, still getting used to the weird predictive text on an Iphone. No offence meant to your manna, she shouldn't cop any insults just because your nanna was a loon! ;)

Anyway, regardless of her religion, I thought her story was a good example of how religion is a comfort to many, despite the troubles they face, no matter how adverse.

that's very arrogant to say that anyone with faith in God is a loon... and therefore you are not only offending Nanna SS but everyone who has any faith whatsoever... which makes you a loon because you believe there is no God...

I believe in Dog.........
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

I get the reference, and she is not one of the said 144K, she knows that. The 144K know who they are.
