BS, how many Labor politicians are willing to be tasered huh? Yeah thats right ;)

The only thing that could give the useless Libs a shot come March, piss Rann off and elevate General Atkinson!

So you do "give a s**t" about the story then Gozu??? ;)
Is out of change.....thanks Cambridge Clarrie!!!

Not sure if I believe her. Her demeanour seems a bit odd.

Mike Rann in trouble

Postby aceman » Sun Nov 22, 2009 7:12 pm

Seems Media Mike's extra curricular activities might be the catalyst to end his political journey as SA Premier.
Revelations exposed by his past "lady friend' who is quite an attractive woman, will get all sorts of differing responses, not the least might be a major "please explain" from his wife.
Just goes to show that you really cannot trust anyone in circumstances such as these as sooner or later, the truth will come out!

LOL, all that foreplay by Ch7 and bang ... all over in no time.

I give Rann more than an even money chance to get out of this predicament intact ... and the alleged mistress can walk away to count her money.

Seems like a win-win situation unless you're the poor cuckold.

Yes, you'd think if there were any other damaging allegations they'd have been aired tonight...I reckon Rann will be in deep poo with his wife, and take a slight dip in the polls, but will keep his job, win the election and within 6 months hardly anyone will even remember what this 'fuss' was all about.

Well, he does admire Bill Clinton but a cigar does show a bit more imagination than just bending her over the desk.

Mrs Jimmy - didn't think the little twerp had it in him

Kevin Rudd - Mike Rann sticks up for his state more than any other premier - gotta admit, he does go beyond the call for duty - appropriate coin of phrase there Kev

What do you mean "is that it"? What else did you expect?

He banged a married chick and ruined a family for no other reason than to get his rocks off.

If the husband isn't charged then there is definately something dodgy going on.

As an observation, Channel Seven's choice of wording in the introduction and throughout the segment was very interesting. The word "allegedly" never used - all aspects of the discussion were aired as if declared as fact - which at this stage, only two people know to be correct or otherwise.

LOL, and it doesn't take 2 to tango??? She ruined her own marriage and has no-one else to blame than herself. If Rann was involved as suggested, then he has his wife and her family to respond to in the same manner.

FFS, they're both adults who can make their own decisions.

... and I agree with CK, I didn't hear the word alleged anywhere, so if she is wrong then she'd better hope that her payment covers her legal fees.

No-one wins in this situation so why bring it out into the public domain.

He ruined a family? I think she might have been equally at fault, don't you.

She's definitely equally ruined his marriage, I would think, although the $200,000 might help her struggle through that.

I was expecting something more than that he's allegedly had a sexual relationship with her.

I'd suggest several other members of parliament on both sides might be getting a bit nervous if that's a disqualification for office.

If he's lied about it, though, that's a different matter, politically.

I think you'll find there's more on Today Tonight all week

Just a question - did Wayne Carey get away with it?

Is it not similar?

He's in trouble because he's lied about it and the Press smell blood

I think a complicating factor here is that there is a power imbalance between the 2 "parties", i don't think its completely right to level blame exactly on a 50/50 basis.

LOL, not really, but Media Mike isn't an alcoholic and drug addict as far as I know, and didn't bang Kevin Foley's missus (whoever the 9 women Foley would have been seeing in that period).

And just quietly, hard to believe I know, but Rann might be a tad more street smart than Carey, so I give him more chance of getting away with it.

I didn't say single handedly ruined a marriage. Just because someone else took part does not mitigate his conduct.

Adelaide Now wrote:‘’Michelle was riddled by guilt…because she loved her husband and family.”

well, she should have thought about that before engaging in a little adultery!

Let me get this straight-
a single man who (allegedly) beds a married woman should lose his job over it years later, whilst a married woman ****s around & then is (allegedly) given $200,000 to tell all about it?
