I would be very suprised if Samaraweera doesnt make a big hundred here.

He is Laxman like. That being the bullies of flat tracks. The boosted average due to there complete dominance on flat tracks.

Did Dilshan open again? He has really hit form in the last year. Become one of the best players to watch in world cricket in all forms of the game IMO

Dilshan is great to watch in all forms, he is a very free scoring player. And yes CK he did open. Only faced about 135 balls as well.

That strike rate is amazing in test match cricket!!! THose stats back up what i thought, he is a freak in career best form at the moment! If only Sri Lanka were in Australia this year, with our attack against Dilshan, Sangakkara and Jayawaredene. It would be a great test for our boys IMO

That is Mahela's 6th Double century by the way. He would have to have the most of anyone in the modern era wouldnt he?? shoulda backed the better batsman out of the two with a big hundred!

No wonder why test matches will die soon on the sub continent... Whats happened to the days of winning the toss and batting, with the ball doing a lot until middle of the 2nd session, and then time for the set batters to cash in. With the last 2 days getting extremely hard to bat on.

SCORES in the SERIES

1ST TEST
IN 426 an insipid pathetic batting effort
SL 7/760 DEC
IN 4/412 after a batting collapse that saw IN 4/275
Match total 21/1598 zzzzzzz
SL 7/760
IN 8/838
If only these were 10 day Test matches

2ND TEST
IN collapsed losing thier last 7 wickets for 131
IN 642

You can argue that both sides bat well
But without being there it appears the batting decks are made of tar
Perhaps the Indians have made non spinning decks becoz SL have superior spinners ????

This is precisely why the sub continent teams can never expect to have reigns of decades as WI/AU have had
