Barossa will be looking at using it's locals this year ( 3 imports) so It will be a hard season for them this year. Have been told that some of the players that are coming up from the 17's will leave if they don't get in the A's team. They are not happy with the B's coach. I don't know who it is so if anyone has the name of the B's coach could you pass it on.

Think the man Phill Twitter Twaites is the B's coach, think not 2 many of the under 17 will play A's apart from a few that played last year..

I'll start off by throwing Kym Hermann into the mix.

Cella dwella - in terms of toughness at the ball I would put Chris Gerhardy in there in his prime... eyes only for the footy and would go flat out at it...

Not something that needs to be said really... Why would south want to have him back now when they refused to take him as an import last year!!!

I have copped a couple of nice jabs to the chin from him!! I also hear that he can entertain the local publicans with a fistfull of 50c pieces!!

Cachy loved a scrap but as for hardness at the pill i would have to say Danny Westhoff.

According to the umpires the most strecthers enforced by one player in the BL&G is rumored to be Justin Irvin from Willaston , dirtiest player i have ever seen , just ask Carl Martin.

Any more rumours on Kennedy's departure Plugger?
Rumour i heard is he was doing the ringing around to the other clubs trying to find out his market value. With no intention of actually leaving but more so bumping up his match payment at tanunda.

Vdog, i know he is chasing more coin and nth clare is passing the hat around to secure his services in 2010.

I hope Tanunda can keep him but the dollars he is reported to be chasing wont be in the budget. The riverland is also another likely destination , he may remain a Magpie if he gets his wish.

They didn't call Catchy rah rah for no reason, had a front like john martins and a punch from ed harrys

Meathead: Mullet McGrath (sth/ango)
Hard Ball: John Abbott (willaston)

He must be asking for some serious dollars if tanunda cant afford his requests. he was on $500 in "09 and i doubt he would travel to clare just for an extra $200 so he must be asking to double his money or close to it. To be fair thats probably around what guys with his size and ability command in country footy. 100 goal forwards are rare and most other footballers of his ilk are in the SANFL or AFL.

however Id be surprised if he left. Hes a pretty insular character and even Central Districts was too far away from Tanunda for him.

Carl Martin probably did something to enflame the situation... he was not the cleanest bloke getting around.

I am not sure if this has been mentioned or not but Willaston have gained Kieran Sankey back from a knee op. A very good junior footballer, cruicially cut down with two knee recos in three years. Good luck to him!

It was $500. Few boys had to take a pay cut just to keep kenno on board in "09. Good player Schmidty but surely not worth $600.

He played up to under 19's at centrals. Surely the donnybrooks wont be following the lions lead and pinning the hopes of the club on a few kids that didn't make the grade at centrals.

Lets hope Gilligan hasn't sold these poor kids any pipe dreams because they will be in for rude shock when they line up against some of the big boys in the competition.

Hermy, ripper fella!
Where is he these days?

Rippa fella my arse just make sure ur girlfriend is not around, he will have a crack at anything, that has a hole or 2 and a heart beat, not the best fella to have around a club just ask his ex team mates what they think of him lol!!!!!!
as for toughest player i think diddles harvey would be up there...

I played with Hermy in Premiership side. Was bloody hard at the ball and could be "meathead-like" also at times .
Razzman I don't know which of his old teammates youve been talking to but I rate the bloke highly.Put his hammered body on the line every week for his teammates and earned the respect of everyone I knew. Good bloke too.Has had a few hassles in his personal life in recent years but I hear he is back on track. He never had a crack at my Mrs ... perhaps yours is better lookin'!

Tough, courageous, dirty or even stupid, some of these blokes fit into this category
I went toe to toe with a few blokes over the years.
Back in the late 80's-90's there were some of Plugger’s boy's Kym Lindner, Cameron Wright and Tony Porter.
One of my many days playing at full back, I stood in front of Kym Lindner at Tanunda, when an unsavoury incident unfolded something the Peter Caven and Plugger Locket incident.
Mullet McGrath and Jamie Thomas were fearless leaders.
The now white maggot Gary Watson was always worth the admission fee.
Jimmy Linke was always good to have on your side.
Considine has been to more dark places than the average bloke.
Centrals had Lampard and Hermann. What Hermann didn't have in talent he made up for in stupidity.
But for me it is a line ball between McGrath and Kym Lindner.

If I were Nicky Schmidt, I would be grabbing my money and getting out of there as fast as I could.
Surely not $600 for a half back flanker, what has the world come too.
