43C tomorrow.....shame that wasn't saturday's forecast and we could escape with a draw. Still the rain forecast for saturday might make things tough for the fielding side.

Sad day if your praying for a draw AF. Facing WYC with no Hoppy on our Postage Stamp oval (as miller calls it), you should give yourself a massive chance!

But the rain either way, could have a big affect i would think!

May even give myself a bowl this week ;)

That would be up to the captain. That not being you. You can ask me if i will give you a bowl though if you like :D ;) .

I don't pray for anything. Commonsense tells you that maiking 350 to win might happen once in a life time. We'll be going out to do it. But if for some reason the rain stops play - well that would just be too bad wouldn't it...

It would be a disappointing way to finish the game thats for sure.

I will be interested to see how the outfield is this week. I was surprised at how slow it was last week.

Does any other club, in the event of the heat such as last week, not play juniors at the club that usually play seniors?

We were finding it extremely hard to get numbers with around 4 juniors that play seniors unavailable because of the heat. I think it is a good rule to have, as our juniors get cancelled when its 38, so therefore if seniors play in 38 or 39 degree heat, they are unable to play!

Altho back in the day, i remember sub fielding a bit for the seniors when i was 13 in 42 degree heat... But kids arent the same anymore ;)

Shoulders are a deficiencey all us Whenans seem to have. Pity because i used to be able to throw the ball more than 10 metres.

You just watch me bowl all day. It may well mean the Ramblers win but you guys will be proven wrong  ;)

Not really, with the way our blokes bowl i would get more of the ball there than gully.
