VI were 5/245
This Matthew Wades innings
This is the keeper Nostramighty_tigerdamus has predicted will play for OZ
This man is just another sensational keeper batter we own

23 [9]
Wade cover drives a zac and Tom moody on the boundary nonchanantly catches the ball one handed !!!
29[10] straight drive for 6
35[11] on drive for 6
39 [12] pull shot 4
43[13] smashing cover drive from memory
44[14]
2 overs to go
he needs to get his 50 in less than 21 balls to be the fastest domestic 50 ever
45[15]
last over
45[16]
46[17]
47[18]
last ball of the innings
needs 3 to be the fastest ever half centurion, a feat Ronchi, Haddin and Luddenam have been unable to do
Its a full delivery by Noffke [who is the skipper as North off the ground]
Wade launches a cover drive
they run 1
they run 2
and
and
and
thats all
49 runs off 19 balls
strike rate 257.89

Just missed
Has made tons in SS cricket
Including a SS final last year
Oustanding junior keeper who came over from Tasmania

QUESTION

Who is the sensational batsman who has the fastest 50 ?
A stunning 50 off 21 balls

HARWOOD
Breaking news
Hollywood Harwood has reinjured a shoulder
The prognosis is not good
Out prob for the season
at 35 years old, that might be the very end
Very very good o/d Bowler

MAL no wonder why u get predictions correct all the time.
What keeper have u not said in the last month will not play for AUS??
You were lucky with the injuries u got two correct decisions in MANOU and PAINE!

Iv been a fan of WADE for a long time. I think he will be the next keeper/batsman to represent the AUSSIES in all 3 formats

david hookes is teh answer to your question mal, and it seems this record is destined never to be broken as wade is teh 2nd player to be 49* off 19 balls - can you name the other one?

no idea what dorey was trying to do though when its teh last couple of overs and he was bowling length balls every ball and wondering why he was getting smashed. noffke bowls teh last over full and straight and the vics couldnt get him off the square

great win for victoria though missing; white mcdonald mckay harwood wright holland nannes and gilmour got injured during the game

We have an amazing depth of keepers
This is my ODI preference for keepers
1 HADDIN
2 RONCHI
3 WADE
4 PAINE
5 HARTLEY
6 MANOU
Any one of the 6 keepers is capable of doing well in ODIS
The last one to play for AU is my 6th choice !

MAYZ
Yes it wuz David Hookes
50 of 21 balls

Dunno who the other was
Shane Harwood did he make a quick 50 ?

NS V TA
Strange game so far
NS 3/83 [23]
KREZJA opened the bowling
BIRT is the wicketkeeper
No Shane Watson selected

NS are seemingly batting selfishly ?
HUGHES 30[49]
WARNER 36[58] batted very quietly which does not suit him or his team
CLARKE 8[23] first bat for a while, but appeared to be batting himself in, instead ofgetting on with it

NS 1/55 Of 15
And CLARKE with a s/rate in Franger Cup of 72 and 90 @ 18 ave vrs TA bats at 3
JAQUES who scores at about 90 s/rate batting at 5
That is hard to understand
CLARKE was plum LBW b4 scoring of Drew , but given Not Out
CLARKE was run out, when it appeared he should have been given the benefit of a tight call
HUGHES LBW to a ball pitched outside leg

Anyways it appeared they were selfish batting efforts by the top 3
At least with JAQUES and HADDIN in we will see uninhibited batting

Travis Birt wicketkeeper

partnership of 83 from 76 is finished with Katich out for 34 from 34.

S.Smith has hit 5 x 6s and is on 49 off 44 balls.

NSW are 7 balls into their batting powerplay and are 6/191 off 43.1

This Steve Smith is a serious talent. Only 20 years of age with plenty of upside too.

The million dollar Blues batting line up batted like 5 cent pieces
Some of them had
Little intent
More concerned about personal gratifications

HUGHES/WARNER/CLARKE made 74 runs off 121 balls on a Primary School ground
It left the other batters a big task
HADDIN 13 caught at long on by COWAN [might be the outfield catch of the year]
JAQUES 18 the ignominity if batting 5 with a FR s/rate of about 90 batting mostly as a top 3 batter

5/109 [29.3]
Then some team play
KAT 34[33]
OKEEFE 12 [8]
LEE 19* [14]
CLARK 14*[12]
And the star batter of the day Steven Swasbuckling Smith
After seeing his idols ruin his teams winning chances, he then UNSELFISHLY took on the tigers
SMITH 81[59] 7 fours and 5 zacs, a brilliant innings

NS 8/271
An astounding recovering effort by Kat, Smith and the bowlers

The game is now poised at 50/50
TA can get these as have some very good hitters, including my man Boom Boom Birt
BIRT did a good job keeping
BIRT averages 94 with the bat when he is the keeper !

TA Win 4/272 [46]
BAILEY 81 [76] 4 zacs
Nostras man Travis BIRT stars again
71* [51]
5 sixes
This season
211 runs
105-5 average
112 strike rate
Another sensational innings by TB
TB has now hit 54 domestic o/d zacs
IM GOING TO BE UNBEARABLE when HE PLAYS FOR AUSTRALIA !!!

TA won this game becoz the batsman played for the team
NS lost this game becoz HUGHES/WARNER/CLARKE batted slowly and perhaps selfishly
All 3 are favourites of mine, but today they cost thier team badly
DIGHTON and LOCKYEAR played shots and although they didnt get bick scores they set the tone

Back to Birt
He now averages 164 in o/d games when he has been the wicketkeeper
Perhaps now TA should select him to play SS cricket

Career OVER unfortunately.
