So you'd sorta hope that the boarders would stay on if they went to Uni here as well as opposed to playing for Uni...

Be interesting to see what the ratio is..

Bit of a story doing the rounds about internal rumblings at Ledger Road. Maybe the "new broom" isn't making too many friends.

a broom always starts off being very unpopular..a recent example was the blight broom and more recently the hardwicke has been seen being very disliked..but..in the end the broom ends up being quite the nostradamus..

Not too sure where you get your information from aceman.

There was talk of players leaving if the old coach stayed on, i think you will now find that with the new coaching staff there will be more in's than out's at Ledger Road this year.

Never said you did mention anything about a coach, just saying that this is the only internal rumblings that there has been any talk of.

Well maybe now any other ' new broom' that may be down that way can be a part of those "internal rumblings'.
Maybe the old coach thought he was staying but the "broom" thought otherwise.

So can you advise why he considered very strongly going with Bob C to Salis North as his assistant if the job was his to have?

I can tell you that myself and him spoke about this a couple of times.
Bob did speak to him about going with him but he told bob that he would not be going with him if he accepted the job as he was staying with the cats to coach the A'Grade.

From what i hear they are talking to a few players but do not have a lot of money to offer so might be hard to recruit.

Once the new clubrooms are built they should find it easier to attract new players.
