Speaking of man mountains heard AK 99 has sent his resume and sale price out via email to prospective clubs. think maybe limited clubs could afford that kinda money.
and the other Prockerpec will be down this way again some where unlikely south could afford him considering they are on there knees.

note to queen vic, barossa set for massive year bout to name BIG sponsorship deal. and 2 boom recruits 1 that even commane wil play second fiddle 2

will play for south when down here, IF he comes. doesn't play chiefly for money unlike some

i beg to differ sat in on an interview for his services where he asked for $650 a game plus travel and accomodation where i come from that is a bit of money, his only connection to south is one good friend, was willing to play for a team only 20 min from south

Gerardis back, now theres a boost for the culture at South  On the matter what players are getting paid. What we hear on this forum or down the pub is always exaggerated. The clubs are part of this no doubt, but what doesnt seem to get mentioned is that prospective players throw out a price tag that they have been supposedly been offerred, to get other clubs to go higher. Its not always just the clubs being aggressive

What Barossa need to be careful about is the points allocation
an ex AFL player takes out more than half of your allocation'
Geradis on the other hand takes up 0 points...

and i think in any good side in the BLG anton would either be downing a few champas after already playing in the earlier game or he would be standing up near the bench ensuring that his white shorts wont get dirty therfore should only be worth 0 points..

kk said he would always play back with harvs for a year... my prediction is he will play 7 games

Fact 1: The players that have left South were not encouraged to stay as it is those same players that have let the club down year in year out over the last 5 years. If they had any conscience they would repay every cent they were paid over this period and then apologise for putting their hand out in the first place.

Fact 2: The Jeff Brown/CDFC conspiracy theory reads like something out of Tom Clancy spy novel! There is no way in the world Jeff would compromise his position at CDFC to funnell potential talent back to his ex club. If a young player does not make it there it is their decision as to what club they play for. Not their coach. If the players local club does not keep track of their progress and they end up somewhere else that is due to their own mismanagement. Suggest the knockers look at how many SG juniors playing in the 18s and reserves next season.

Fact 3: It is a well known fact that South Gawler does not have the money a Tanunda or Freeling has so to start from scratch and rebuild by recruiting promising youngsters seems like a smart move to me. To go out and buy an Eichner or a Greenwood is your standard short term fix and does nothing for a club. This is the reason Freeling will win the odd flag but has no soul, no tradition and no future.
Fact 4: Osama, you are drawing a very long bow accusing South of cooking the books. I can give you numerous examples of each of the other 8 clubs cheating the system but from memory I dont recall any of those clubs having all their points stripped off them. Oh, thats right South were a powerhouse when that happened and had to be stopped to allow Nuri,Kapunda and Barossa some glory.

how can you say that about a country footy club you freaking knob. freeling is a vey proud club and we do need to spend cash to get flags mainly because we dont have enough of a population to have that many star locals. just because your club dosnt have any cash because use are hopless at running a club dosnt mean you should say stuff like that.

Thats the classic contradiction there Texas. 4 loyal blokes who are leaving!!

And obviously everyone that has been part of the playing squad over the last 5 or so years is at least a part of the problem. Who else could be?

Cmon BEEGRADER you had your supporters believe that it was only injuries that stopped south from winning the flag in 2009 , now your saying you haven't been good enough for 5 years .. with that much sh-t coming out peoples mouths its no wonder people piss on your bar.

Believe the club's filtering through the applications for new players as we speak.
Don't need to be as aggressive in 2010, opposed to 2009.
Just need the one trump card to put the cream on the cake!

In hindsight my comments may have been a little harsh. Please provide me with a list of your 10 year players.

ps, sorry it took so long to reply Pinch, took me a while to convert your post back to some remote form of English. They do have schools in Freeling now dont they?
