Many hand gestures and raised voices followed as the driver of the VW instructed the Landcruiser driver to give his car some space. He then retreated back to his vehicle.
Funny thing was he was dressed in his pyjamas, white fluffy dressing gown and black leather driving gloves !!!

Reminds me of a bloke at work here ... In summer when knock off arrived, he'd jump straight in his car, put on a pair of oven mitts to avoid the hot steering wheel, and off he'd go.

He'd also meditate at lunch time on the medium strip in the middle of Grange Rd, fair to say he was a pretty free spirited individual.

I thought it may have been Jimmy to start with but he was a long way from Springfield and his driver would never be lost like that.... ;)

Harry Chronic Junior, a typical Yank that shoots the mouth off before thinking of the consequences. Might just have a bit of history of doing similar a few years ago but conveniently forgot about it.

I've been trying for months to find somewhere to buy some risoni and angel hair pasta without success. No shop here, in Inverness or in Aberdeen stocked them and only up market ludicrously expensive online deli's had celeb chef varieties and wanted a fortune in postage.

So I looked at a manufacturers site, De Cecco, thinking I might find a stockists list and they're not just trade, don't have a minimum quantity and free postage til the new year. So I now have dried pasta coming by DHL from Italy cheaper than it would have been from any UK place

It's a mad, mad, mad, mad world

I've seen angel hair pasta (San Remo was the company) in supermarkets here, but I'm not sure if you are after say a big name brand or a local type company.

I set out thinking I'd be able to get a standard supermarket own brand but looked and asked everywhere then tried deli's etc. I guess that's the downside of not being close enough to visit a large city like Edinburgh or London but I thought I might find it here at a reasonable price online...but no.

That De Cecco company that I've ordered it from is also a fairly well known brand here...just seems crazy that it's cheaper for me to get it courriered over from Italy

Similarly I didn't buy any single malts when I was in Scotland. I got 'em on the way home at Singapore airport, significantly cheaper :?

Watching a very stylish girl who is pretty happy with her looks and knowing that she is attracting attention, get one of her shoe heels stuck in the pavement and going A over T. Almost always leads to pants wetting laughter !!
