I know they contacted him but Ive also heard he's not getting paid a overly large amount. I was told his Miss's lives in the hills somewhere so could be a connection there???

the man is a beast. Is a great competitor, and what he lacks in skill he more than makes up for in grit and determination. No doubt his time at Gaza would have done him well and will be a great in for the Rosters.

Sad to hear of 'The General' hanging up the boots! Was a brilliant captain and great player who never pulled out of a contest. Big shoes to fill me thinks!

Heard a rumour the chief has landed a job in Qld and won't be back to the bankers next year. Would be a huge blow to them. Believed they have signed some very good players though.

I heard the Chief is staying at Ironbank and they have signed 2 ex AFL players through links of the Chief. Also about another dozen quality players getting on board... big big catch for the Bankers.

Very sad to hear of the passing of Bennet 'Bullfrog' Sparrow.

Was a great player for the Rosters for a number of years as well as a couple of other clubs. Will be sadly missed by all, particularly his family.
