Stopped at lights yesterday morning, to make a right hand turn. There was already a spandex-clad poonce, freshly-shaven legs straddling his velocipede, waiting ahead of me.
After 30 seconds waiting this cretin decides he's had enough waiting, and promptly idles his bike across the pedestrian crossing (against the red), onto the footpath on the other side, and takes off at full tilt down the sidewalk.
They're happy to demand courtesy and awareness from motorists, but they're also happy to ignore the road rules when it suits 'em.

Where's ETSA when you need them?

Don't you love it, guess what, these lights are still not working.
Not bad, been r**ted since end of August and noone gives 2 fat turds, council, ETSA or anyone else for that matter. Get off the bus in pitch black, walk across the road in pitch black, everything's f'n pitch black.
I've got the clock ticking on this one, once they are eventually fixed, Councillor Trainor will be told because he's the one who looks after everyone in this area,
Pig's ar$e councillor.

aceman ETSA had a scheme a few years back where you could phone in a faulty street light and if they didn't fix it within a week they'd give you $10 off your next bill. Me and a mate hatched a scheme to try to milk the system: We drove all around the suburbs for an hour or two, particularly industrial areas, and found about 20 faulty lights. We phoned them all in and we thought we'd make a killing with them having to fix so many - heck we even talked about being able to shout the lights at footy park for a night game or two! Anyway one week later we went around and the buggers had fixed every one of them. Needless to say we both still pay our electricity bills.![]()
Not sure if that scheme is still going or not?
If the light is on a main road it may be DTEI's (aka Transport SA) responsibility - give them a buzz and if you still get no joy you might want to think about packing a torch.
