Looooove Sumner! Beautiful disposal, very courageous, will be a very good AFL footballer.

he can't kick though, went and watched him in the reserves grand final and struggled to hit a target, helicopter s***t!

'helicopter s***t' - You aren't thinking of Jarad Almond are you?

Doesn't know what he's talking about. If he was crap he wouldn't have gone up the League/Reserves squad. I've seen him play a lot and sure he has had a couple bad games, but who hasn't.

Don't worry about that fool, posted the same thing on BigFooty. Seem him once and he shanks a few kicks so he must be no good.

With the National Draft this year only running to about 66-odd selections, I'd be surprised if 10 or 11 of those picks were from SA.

Ah Chee isn't an SANFL draft pick, he'll be an NT draftee given he played for the NT Thunder in the 18s this year.

He goes OK but he's no Shannon Snook.

Agree with nickname wont be many from SA in the draft due to the low number of picks. 7-8 I reckon with half coming from the Victoria, 7-8 from WA, and the rest shared around Div 2 teams and delisted players.

We'll pay for the drop in standard due to the change from 17s and 19s to 16s and 18s..... ;)
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Then there's also the number of rookie picks, which are the same result to lose a player interstate.

Hahaha, i didnt no i was a BigFooty member??? maybe you know something i dont...

i stand by my comment that he cant kick... spoke to some mates today who have either played with him or against him and think that he cannot kick actually... so im not alone!

having said that he does possess a lot of positives that would attract AFL scouts... kicking can be improved

Young Keegan Brooksby who has only played aussie rules for a couple of years may get a rookie spot, and Luke Bowd who won the under 18s medal may be a chance too.
As for smokies Coad and Dutshke would have to be a chance, and althogh Coad is maybe a bit old,he would have to be one of the few who I think could make the transition without a problem at all!!

Bollenhagen will go before Boyd.
Boyd had a sh!t year and his bum is still as close to the ground as it was last year.

Postby 85 WAS A GOOD YEAR » Sat Nov 28, 2009 10:18 am

I must say Glenelg’s U18 Coach Ian Cox is a pretty good judge of talent!

Coxy interviewed for Messenger after SANFL U18’s Grand Final Oct 6th 2009

"Hopefully we get a number drafted because we’ve got a number ready to go to the next level.’’ One in particular is Christian Howard who missed out on the state squad mid-season but Cox said had "come from the pack’’ in the last 12 weeks. "He’s ready to play AFL footy, he’s courageous and he’s really stepped up.’’

Why 4 years, that's a short time, no doubt designed to produce a desired result.

What's the order for the last ten years ;)
