I thought Seelander was a ruckman, not a midfielder Daisy.

Always on the lookout for new local talent.
We are a little more scrupulous in moving recruits into the town now after we were ransacked by the thief that moved into the pub last year.

Not much incentive with people moving into the estate, as they all become 3 point players if they played elsewhere, which is ridiculous ! Could be some handy B graders running around at certain stages next year. Only 0 pointers if they were moved via employment without choice. They could play A's on a week to week basis depending on how many points you have up your sleeve. Makes the job of developing the kids in that estate all the more important as they will all be zero points.

4 points for league, - 1 point for not playing last year, makes them a 3 pointer. If they go 2 consecutive years without playing footy at all they become a 0 pointer again.

Back on after a bit of an absence chaps, so a bit of housekeeping to be done:

* Kapunda's Brad Taylor not signed, but most likely to stay
* Gawler Central's Brad Taylor has agreed to stay at Tigerland
* Freeling signing a 21 - 22 yo ruckman from a SANFL club (not sure which) this week
* Matt Slade not a definite starter at Gawler Central in 2010
* The player turnstile (in and out) to continue clicking at South Gawler

Phew! Get your teeth into those

Roodog - are you certain Brad Taylor (of the Centrals variety)? Word has it that he is going to play with his good mate Aaron Bevis at the Min Man Eagles? Who else has come in & out for the lions?

Young Junior Appleton will be a handy pick up for the lions coming from CDFC U18, his best footy is still atleast 3-4 years away.
Believe that he may attract 2 points under the new system.

0 points if they played under 18's and no reserves or senior footy at another club. If they played reserves for most of the year + 4 points unless they were former south players.

Seems the hiskins-brown connection with CDFC is helping the lions.

Porter is a great pick up I reckon, was playing some very good football for the Doggies reserves...

Played mostly off half back and a little bit on the ball, but a very good left footer who runs and carries the ball.

From North Adelaide originally I think and a shame he isn't persisting at the Dogs, played a league trial game at the start of this year.

South going through a lot of players, but bringing a lot of good, young players in!
The few they have jagged this year with the few good ones from last year will make the midfield very speedy. Now all they need is a spine, FB, CHB, CHF, FF & Ruck!!!
