if its the same guy hopefully we sign him tonight when he comes down for a interview...

How did the meetings at BL go? Any signings?

meetings were very good we have signed b smith (onkaparinga ) another guy who has to be kept quite for a couple of weeks and as from today blodge is happy to announce that scott mcintyre and his brother dj from salisbury west will be playing for the lodge in season 2010, and hopefully 3 to 4 more in the upcoming days.

Awesome news about Scotty and DJ!

Now just to work on them over winter for next cricket season!

Did Pross give up his position as B grade coach to do anything else around the club? I am sure he would still be there in some role, played alot of footy out there with him and he loves the place so i hope he went out on his terms. Look forward to getting back to Argarna park next year to play the Elizabeth Allstars

Is Daniel going to play A's and coach B's? Although Pross is a good communicator and has done well with the B's, Jed has done a lot with that group and they did play in the GF this season, it would've been a fair kick in the guts if he didn't get the opportunity to go again.

i think Pross wants to expand his coaching horizons. He was never gonna get A grade job, but applied for the wrong team. The now u16s are a great side and would be totally wrong decision to replace Jed Platten with a senior coach who i never believed has coached juniors before. Maybe 13s or 15s would be better option for Pross

And im pretty sure the word on friday was Dan Glennie will captain/coach the B grade.

I know he played at Onkas for two seasons, but apparently missed some games through injury. He will a very handy backman come ruckman if needed
