Calderblank should be asked to play, because he makes you concentrate like crazy, and just one false shot can cost you.
BTW - can you recall the CUSA Cup grand final birth that Heath McKay bowled us out of? Vs Para Districts at Nth Haven.
Besides, from what I have heard, maybe we should pull out and go back to playing the Southern association.

Now this is getting funny! =)) =)) =))

All this talk about association sides, may well be a fruitless discussion as ATCA are being heavy handed in negotiating with the new CUSA, SAMCA that they want all games played on Turf. I think the format should stay the way it is currently where it swaps every second year from hard wicket and turf. SAMCA are still no certainty to even organise these inter-association matches as they have already said to the associations they won't be paying for the shirts etc, as CUSA did. Para Districts have said they will pull out if that is the case.

Still good fun having these discussions.

Shoe Boy, i still back our association to beat your side with or without Calderbank!
His figures from last year and economy rate, does suggest he should be in our association side!

The game between Mitchell Pk and ICC in section 2 ended up a draw. Does any one know the reason behind this? ICC made 170 and Mitchell Pk was 1/81 off 30 overs.

Wyc have had a good day. Rolled sth rd for 84. Hopkins getting 4 fa. Passed them 1 down in 19 overs and have them 3 fa 40 in the second. Coverking showed his versatility with a good display keeping wickets today as BMac was out with work commitments. Big shot at the outright next week.

We dropped 2 before we got a wicket. 10 catches that is a bad day in the field.

Must have bowled well to restrict them to 180.

Ramblers made a pretty solid 9/217 against ICC today. Being a traditional grudge match - was played in very good spirits I thought.

Always good to make 200+ against a quality side like ICC - especially on the outfield we had today. Seriously was about 40+ runs that went begging as it was just so damn long (was on our oval).

Tonkes got a 5-wicket haul I believe and was the pick of their bowlers even if he didn't get the wickets IMO. Sampson bowled very sharply but without luck. From our batsmen, J. Benson made 69 batting @ 5, Elliott with 71 @ 3. Very good partnership between those 2.

Should be a cracker next week...

As for the other games - some interesting and particularly low scores there. Will make it very interesting to see if any outrights come of it and how that shapes the season.

Only playing one week swapping with my younger brother Bazza. Both could only play one week and lack of numbers forced Booney out of an early retirement for a week.

And as Drew is not out, Booney goes out to bat from Ball one ... Looking forward to seeing how he goes

So if Drew got out, Booney wouldnt of been able to bat this week. Im not sure of the thinking behind that?
