And what a real tough thing to do....headbutt someone when they've got a broken arm and have no chance of fighting back.

I played a season with one of the Pearce boys...Kym?? Sorry, can't remember. That's a f'n hard bloke!
And agree with the Burch and Kerr comments. I once saw Kerr headbutt the changeroom walls several times after we lost to Shanty.

David "DK' Stevens would have to be one of the up and coming hard nuts of the HFL. Still young but a solid unit.

He's not a hard man, he's a sniper like Schutz from Lobey!! All those old Pearce boys are the same.....wait til you're pinned in a tackle or a pack, give you one and then run off!! In my eyes that's not tough.

Darrell was the mad one wasn't he? Played for about 6 clubs in the two div's up there, maybe even one a Medal in div 1? Who did you play for JQ? Kym's doing all right - nearly 50 and still playing in the B's I think.

FlyingHigh - yeah, reckon you're right, Darrell. I was at Lofty at the time.
Gimp - that may be true, but I never played 'against' him. Wasn't aware of that.

Nah, it was Darryl Pearce. I played a couple of seasons with him too. He was one of the hardest units I've ever seen.

He wasn't a sniper, but I'd say he was pretty dirty all the same. I never saw him whack someone behind the play, but he loved the biff. And he certainly never ran off!

One of the funniest thing I remember about Pearcy was one day in the not-so-super b's we were getting pumped, so he ordered every player to play in defence (including the ruck and midfield players). Fair to say, it didn't help proceedings and only got us further in the red.

Kim pearce's son Brad is one of the top players in div 2 for Kersbrook. Not a dirty player at all. He would be a handy player at div. 1 level. He mentioned he would only play div.1 if Kersbrook went up. Brad would make any div one team including the revamped Devils.

Has Brad Pearce won a Country Mail Medal? He's always in the best for the Brookers.

Are Kym and Darryl Pearce related? from memory, Darryl played at Gumeracha after the Devs.

Brad Pearce had a great first half of 2006 and was leading the medal about half way but died off a bit after club's started tagging him heavily.
He would make a great half forward in most div 1 sides.

There are about 3-4 brothers, Kym, Darryl & Leigh are the ones I know of. All as dirty as the other.

It doesn't seemed to have rubbed off onto Brad or Nath though, they seem to just play the game. Nath can get a bit firey but haven't seen much of Brad doin it.

They don't need to though with both Tapp boys, Matt Scott and Darren Wake all trying to knock heads off!!

exelby is a tough unit.

Another one, for his size, I reckon David Murphy from the roos is a tough nut. Fairly small, but hard as nails.
