Black Eyed Peas

Anyone go to the concert last night?
Not my cup of tea but my daughter and missus said it was a fantastic gig.
My daughter said it was the best concert she'd ever been to but has only ever been to one other (Pink), reckons that songs that sounded ordinary on the CD sounded great live and that Pump It went off.
I think she's into colours as after seeing Pink and the Black Eyed Peas the next chick concert they're off to is Green Day in December!
I wonder when Simply Red and Barry White will be touring?

I didnt go but I have read a couple of reviews that put them up there as far as live performances go.

Pump it would be good live, if you like that sort of thing.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Not my thing either, but the missus and some friends got themselves on the guest list last night after we spent Sunday night playing blackjack at the casino with some of their support staff, and back-up band members. I witnessed one of their tour staff lose $7k in 2 hours, and she was female !!!

The missus said it was a great show... mind you, they had pretty good stage-side seats !!!

"Pump It" samples Dick Dale's "Misirlou". Saw Dick Dale do it live in 95 but didn't see the Black Eyed Peas ;)

i went with my missus, and i shall say, although i do actually like their songs/albums, listening to them on a CD does no justice what-so-ever for the show they put on!! was absolutely AMAZING!

i had some pretty sweet seats, which made it better, but the way they engage the crowd, and get all involved blew my mind!

and yes "pump it" went off!!! i though "boom boom pow" would have aswell, but it had nothing on pump it! and if you speak to anyone that was there, ask what fergie done at the end of "Humps"!!! done nothing but make me fall more in love with her!!

honestly, i would probably say that when they had the stage to themselves individually (they all had the stage to themselves at some point during the night, whilst others were having a rest/costume changes etc.), they were probably just as good if not better than they are as a group. Will-I-Am's solo DJ-ing effort was probably my highlight of the night, got the crowd going nuts!

Just be glad that Deep Purple and Black Sabbath aren't touring....
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.
