And therefore to his brother Ted, who used to breed and show Poodles in Adelaide. I knew Ted slightly in my distance past as a breeder of Dalmatians.
Thanks for all the replies fellas.
I'm also related to S.A. tennis player Joel Kerley who was a promising junior player a few years back and was a member of the 2002 junior Davis Cup team for Australia. IIRC, I last heard he was a junior tennis coach for South Australia.
My Great Grandfather Frosty Kerley was a dual premiership player for Bute on the Yorke Peninsula in 1915 and 1923. According to the Bute Football Clubs history book, he played football wearing a felt hat and used it to mark his mark when kicking for goals.
I don't think i'm related to Stephen as I believe he's originally from Victoria. I've never met Neil and I was surprised to find out that a lot of old-timers in the family aren't exactly his biggest fans...
My Uncle started a job one day and he was introduced to this bloke who was friendly at first till he found out my Uncles last name. Turns out he was a close relative to someone who was touched up by Neil!
Another bit of info for you. The founding father of the Kerley family in S.A. was a man by the name of Henry. When he married my Great Great Great Grandmother in 1849, his employer at the time was pastoralist George Charles Hawker, who later became a prominent politician and played for the original Adelaide Football Club in 1860.
