Perhaps I shouldn't buy the Cayman S I was looking at...

Just dont buy the Cayman I saw in Perth recently. All "pimped up", 20" rims, chrome all over with a giant decal down the sides.

"DIESEL" ....

The point of a buying a decent car is to enjoy driving it, not to be flashy.
There should be a showroom taste test requiring potential owners to be subtle and show a little class.. ;)
However, I'm finding I'm reluctant to part with my Audi S2, which is also a quattro, and more discrete and deceptive than any Porsche.

Going shopping with Mrs Choccies.....
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

I refuse to go shopping, be it for clothes or food with Mrs.Boon. We mutually agree to the fact we cant shop together.

Good work. Blokes who go shopping with their Missus need to grow some testicles. On a related matter any bloke who holds his Missus' handbag ought to be shot.

But she HAS to come shopping with me - that carton of beer isn't going to carry itself back to the car, you know...

My wife had leverage - she was only 155 cm tall and couldn't reach the top shelves, but for minor shopping I'd sit in the car and get her to duck in on her own.
I occasionally got stuck with the hand bag when she was trying clothes on, but it had a lot of my money in it, which made that preferable to it getting nicked in the change rooms...
I rationalised it as guard duty.
