India vs Australia-ODI series thread

Postby Gozu » Sat Oct 24, 2009 2:24 am

I don't know but I thought it might look cleaner to make a thread for the whole series instead of separate threads for all seven games?

Anyway the 1st ODI gets under way on Sunday afternoon on Fox with the pre-match show starting at 1:30pm. Michael Clarke says he could be fit to fly over for the last few games of the series and Brad Haddin, Callum Ferguson & Nathan Bracken will all miss the series due to injury. I think India have dropped Rahul Dravid for at least the first few games of the series too.

No surprises Watto gone for LBW and we're currently 1/38 after 8 overs.

Currently Australia 2/102
Paine 50(62)
Ponting 41*(58)
I.Sharma 1/19(5)
A.Nerha 1/22(5)

Interesting to see Nerha back into the Indian national team. I thought he fell into the abysis a few years back.

Paine batted beautifully.
Have had my doubts but saw him at Adel Oval last Sunday, and again today - unfortunately streets ahead of Choc Manou with the willow

I've only had Foxtel for about 3 weeks so enjoyed the game today when normally i wouldn't have been able to watch it. I've been trying to work out who one of the commentators is (i think he mentioned in the telecast today he was playing in 98), an Australian, i know one is Bruce Yardley but work who the other one is..??
