has the red baron got a love child, alot of praise for someone that has a bit of luck lately against some fairly ordinary batting attacks.

Or must be looking for a move up from the B grade.

HaHa! Is there soon to be a Goolwa Chess Club Rocky? Will you be opening a new thread claiming to have 'signed' Checkov in the off-season? Or will you be offering 'petrol money' and free beers to entice some of the European Grand Masters to the southern Fleurieu?

Seems McLaren have unearthed another potential star - P. James starred with both bat and ball in his maiden appearance for the Eagles. Will get the call up to go round with the big boys next outing.

The Old Straight Arm bandit Paul james is a superstar in the making...Might be a bit rich getting an A Grade outing, But has B grade written all over him at the moment there dodging...

Bloods common champ settle down this is a forum about opinions and discussions about cricket, we are fair to hear yours every week so personal comments should be banned, Good to see you boys roll Dingy though amazing effort, what happened stones all over the pitch???

As for giving Rocky stick, well Rocky has been a victim of some really bad attitudes down at Goolwa in previous years, but I think he is one of the guys at the backbone at the club putting in 100% on and off the field to try and achieve success. Doesnt deserve some pastings..But when he talks it up about Goolwa especially last year was made to eat alot of humble pie.... :butthead: :-# , and really im not too sure Goolwa will make the finals this year either, but have some great talent there and will be something wrong on field if they can't.

Geez Bloods, settle down mate! As WIW said, this is just a bit of fun, no need to get nasty! The great thing about GSCA is it is country cricket. No one is playing for sheep stations. Turn up, have some fun with your mates, have a beer with the opposition, if you win its a bonus! If you want hardcore sledging and over-seriousness, go play in town! Rocky may make some pretty brash statements at times, but without him this forum would be pretty boring! As for Goolwa CC, they may not be the most popular team in the comp, but atleast they have continued to front up in the A grade and had a go rather than persisting with a B grade side that wins nearly every week (except when it counts!).

I must admit when i first heard compass were having two A grades i thought the second team would get flogged every week but looking at the scores they seem to have been reasonably competitive so far! how did the pitch play??
