Sorry Catchit you were wrong we decided to give freeling another bat 4 balls after tea so that makes it about 4pm.

Sandy Creek knocked Freeling over for 89 then sent them back in and they were 3 down for a hundred odd. Good solid day out in the middle with two bowlers down before the day even started. Definately fired up for taking on Nuri this week, should be a belter

You'll beat Nuri without much trouble. Looking at the names they are putting out there, they are looking quite weak, lost to Tanunda, and apparently survived a protest to record a win against Gawler Centrals. Freeling also looks to be weaker than last year, understandable given Parish has gone. Comp. could well be a 1 horse race as - with a pack of 2 or 3 fighting to be runners up.

Kapunda should go OK - but I reckon a full strength Gilbert Valley will scare a few teams - and if Ango click could go Ok.

GV - with 3 Vandies, Boof and Zak Hier returning plus Tommy Vater will be a good team.

will full strength include hoges norm?

catchit, i have been kind to the sandy boys with the draw, got a GV 1st up with no J or R Vandeleur and would expect freeling to be in the bottom 2 unless ben parish returns from port adealaide in a real hurry. not sure if this week will tell us anything either, they face nuri who are struggling.

At the moment we have found that the top order of both teams look solid and are very patient. Bowling wise Freeling especially, bowled good tight lines, nothing short and a bit of movement. At this stage i would compare them to probably ATCO and maybe OTH. I would say that both Two Wells and Salis West of last year would both have won against the two teams we have played. It is early in the season though and we are all looking forward to playing the rest of the comp.

maybe i should clarify that statement catchit, B Grade turf is 2nd to BLCA ;)
sandy doesnt play kapunda until after xmas so until then it will all depend on what the opposition have available, would say tanunda in rd 4, central in rd 6 and ango in rd 7 would be their biggest test. they also face a 2 day trip to saddleworth in rd 5

Prospect had the bye and if a player has a duel clearance approved by saca, the assoc and the club he is able to play for either side...
