Speaking of Centrals I would like to see better lights at their oval, the ones they have currently are deplorable; the night game Sturt v Centrals was a waste of money and if they are to continue playing night fixtures they would have to be upgraded, can't be that flash for the players either[/quote]

I have heard from the Central District Football Club that there will be an upgrade with lighting for 2010 season

Country games would be a nice addition to the fixture.

That and SANFL vs. TSL in Tassie.

Thats like the pot calling the kettle black. You guys should be the last ones complaining about the condition of an opposition oval.

From an Eagles prospective I would like our fixture like this:

Central (2) 1 Home, 1 Away
Glenelg (2) 1 Home, 1 Away
North (3) 2 Home, 1 Away
Norwood (3) 1 Home, 2 Away
Port (3) 2 Home, 1 Away
South (2) 1 Home, 1 Away
Sturt (3) 1 Home, 2 Away
West (2) 1 Home, 1 Away

2 Games minimum to be played at Thebarton - North, Port
Central Away - Saturday (day)
Norwood Away - Friday (night), Saturday (day)

That's not a bad idea - although would require a neutral venue. Without Adelaide Oval that might be a tough proposition. Thebby is used by the Ammos so it's going to be a stretch for the Eagles to even play 2 games there throughout the season.
