Thanks mate - for Norwood to adhere to the spirit of that ban is very admirable. :D

Most people will probably say that they have no hope of breaking into the Dogs league side but you never know, many wouldn't have thought Ware, Slattery, Jenner and Nason would have done as well as they have. So goodluck to these two lads.

tommy hamilton from eastern park has been asked to do preseason as well, the kid can play thats for sure.
good size body, fit as and good over head.

very glad hear Tommy is going to have a run (for most who wouldn't have seen him play, he plays in the exact same mold as Scott Dutschke only Tommy would probably be stronger and more well built, obviously not as good though.) the key for these three blokes is they will have to understand that they may need to spend a whole season in the ressies before they are even close to be given a league birth, they need to take a leaf out of the Brad Currie and Brayden O'Hara's of the world.

Craig Taylor can play footy, a midfielder he has that ability to attract & find the ball, a good reader of the play & good usage of the football.
To play league footy he'll have to pick up his workrate especially if he is to play on the ball ( a bigger engine is required ).
No doubt if he puts his mind to it i believe he can play league football again.
He had alot of private issues that interupted his football when transferring to Sturt, he'd be a more mature player now.

Craig is a good lad and can play......

but like David Westbrook from the Eagles having a couple of years out of league I think he will struggle and will mainly play reserves with the odd game in the League........

someone please correct me if I'm wrong. :?

I have heard that due to a mistake in the wording of the penalty by the SANFL Investigating Officer there is a gap between the date that ends their suspension from recruiting outside of thier zone and the closure date for clearances for this season hence they still can recruit this year - all be it with a late start ;) - Please any Norwood supporter correct me.

Someone told me once the SANFL don't make mistakes, I think it was John Conlon.  He's the 'salary cap' investigating officer.

Former Glenelg star Billy Neely is back in Adelaide with business interests and will be looking at doing a pre-season back in the SANFL but not with the Bays. Was playing over in the ACT comp and I reckon would be a good pick up for another league club.

'Very good player' than Dutchy, you would have been happy for him to be called a star when he was playing for your side winning B&F's would you not ?

Very possible that it is Billy Neely wizard, I'm pretty sure Brett Knowles, one of the Roosters assistant coaches, was involved with Ainslie at some stage before coming back to Adelaide.
