James Smith

First Class Cricket Talk (International and State)

James Smith

Postby teaoby » Thu Oct 15, 2009 11:16 am

Another potentially great young opener in the making, made his maiden first class century yesterday after making 178 last week in an under23 game i believe. hopefully he can keep the form up all year and move into the talkings of hughes and company.
great to see a great bloke making some runs!

just a side note, james was another of those kids that could have played either AFL or cricket and chose cricket which most dont do so great to see the choice paying off!

One Shield innnings, one ton, but expectations will be high on this lad from now on.

Hope the pressure to perform doesn't get to him.
